I pulled up in front of the house after my little shopping spree. It was about 12:30 so nobody was home. I walked up to my room, my arms full of bags filled with new clothes, shoes, and jewelry. I've been dying to redo myself since I moved into this house. I dropped the bags onto my bed and tied my new purple hair into a ponytail, turning on some music once I was done. I started putting all my new stuff away when I heard a crash downstairs.
I crept downstairs, peeking around the corner to see who it was. "Abby! Where are you?!". I walked out from behind the wall, I knew I was going to have to face him sooner rather than later. " Hey Ash". He spun around looking at me in shock. "Abby, what happened. You beat someone up and you ditched school, that's not like you." He said softly. "To put it simply, Natalie crossed a line and I snapped". He walked towards me and grabbed my hand, turning it over, rubbing his thumb over my spilt knuckles. "What did she say that would make you do this?" He asked more to himself than to me. "I rather not discuss it Ash." I said leaning my head onto his chest. "That's fine, but I'll be here for you if you want to talk about it". I nodded my head.
"Now to address the elephant in the room, what did you do to your hair?" He asked with a slight laugh. " I've always wanted to dye my hair, I've just always been too scared." I responded. He nodded. We stood in silence before he spoke. "Abby, just know that I love the person you are and don't let this whole situation ruin you. Don't let what she said get to your head." He said quietly. "Ashton, I don't think you understand, I'm the same person I've always been, I'm just unafraid. You've never seen me when I wasn't scared, but I'm still me". He smiled at that and kissed me softly. I pulled away and smiled at him. "So you aren't mad that I beat the shit out of Natalie?". "Hell no, she's had it coming for a long time and knowing you, whatever she said must have horrible for you to snap like that." He laughed. "You could say that again" I giggled.
We walked to the couch and sat down, deciding to watch some movies for the rest of the day. Oddly enough, I only made it about 30 minutes into the first film before falling asleep cuddled up to Ashton. I could definitely get used to this.

Author's note:
Hey guys, I know it's been an incredibly long time since I've updated, and in all honesty, I sort of lost motivation to write these books, but then I realized it would be unfair to you guys. I have decided that I will finish this novel, but it will probably be my last one for a while. Thank you guys for all the support you've been sending me!
Much love,
Lilac
