Chapter four: Diona

Diona woke with a start as her alarm screamed mercilessly. She slammed the stop button and got up. The cats tail had been busy last night.
She headed downstairs to the Cat's tail to feed them and began to make her fathers coffee.
Once she was convinced it would taste awful, she headed back upstairs. She set his coffee down on the night stand and shook him awake violently.
"...oh, good morning Diona." He smiled sleepily.
"Good morning father, coffee." She shoved it in his direction as he yawned. He sat up.
"You're so good to me, Diona" he kissed her forehead and took a sip. "Ew, morning breath." She muttered and wiped her forehead "Get up old man! You have to go to work." Diona grabbed her father's hand and began to drag him out of bed.
"You make the best coffee darling." He got up and pet her head.
She huffed, blushing, and headed back to her room. She changed out of her pajamas and into her school clothes. Afterwards, she brushed her teeth and put her hair up, then headed out to say farewell to her father.
"Goodbye dad!" Diona called from the door. "Wait!" She hears thunderous footsteps approach as her father barrels over to her and bear hugs her. "I love you! Have a good day in school!" "Ugh dad!" Diona blushed again and smiled. "Get off! I can't get to school with you holding me hostage!" She resisted.
Diona's dad let go after kissing her forehead once again. "Go brush your teeth old man!" She huffed and walked out the door.
Diona did not live too far from the school, so she would often walk straight there. Though sometimes, at her fathers insistence, he would drive her there.
She arrived just as all of the buses pulled in and walked straight to the cafeteria.
Diona ate breakfast at school because she rarely felt she had time to get enough rest, then get up, make her fathers coffee, wake him up, make breakfast, walk to school and make it in time.
As she munched on a soggy French toast stick, Klee, Qiqi, and Sayu all made their way to the table.
"Wow Klee, you're here later than usual. What happened?" Diona asked. "Miss Jean had a meeting today, so she couldn't drive me to school. Hey! I heard about this thing on the bus, it's called a sleepover!" Klee recalled gleefully. "Did you guys wanna try it?"
