I'm hate my mom she promised that she would come to my meet today. Yeah I know I'm 13 but she still lied to me.

*knock knock*

"Y/n sweetheart start packing we're going to Nanna's for easter" mom said. I hope my cousins will be there. Aunt Ashley has two kids Luke 14 and Noah 12. Aunt Marykate (MK) has three kids the twins Lauren and Louis 15 and Julian 13. Lauren is the oldest out of all of us and I'm younger then Julian by 6 months. Lauren's nickname is jr because she looks and acts sometimes like her mom so the family just call her that well besides her mom she calls her peach. After I finish packing.

*The next day*

" Y/n you can't still be mad I said I'm sorry baby what else can I do?" Ugh why is she trying to talk to me I'm still going to hold this grudge. On our way to Nanna's mom still trying everything thing to talk to me. I need to talk to Lauren ASAP.
When we got there I see Lauren and Louis fighting, Aunt MK trying her best not to lose it, and Aunt Ashley trying to get Julian Luke and Noah to stop rolling in the grass. "Lauren" I yelled getting out of the car and running to her. "Hey bubba" she said "Peach show y/nn to the room you two are sharing" MK "ok, come on we can catch up in our room" when we get there I start to tell Lauren everything because she's my BFTF (Bestfriend in the family) "So what happened was my mom broke our promise. She said she'll come to my gym meet and she never came lo" I told her "Bubba I know how much gymnastics is important to you I don't really have advice for this matter because my mom missed so many of my dance competitions, rhythmic gymnastics, and my Broadway shows. Damn she even forgot Louis and I Birthday on more then one time, but she did apologize it took A while for us to forgive her but eventually we did. As long as you feel ready to forgive her that will always be the right time to talk to her." I looked at her " I just hate her I don't even want to talk to her ever again" I told her
" You know a wise person once said 'What's cool about our family is that we don't hold grudges, and I think that's sort of been the key to the success. We have our disagreements, but whether we're right or wrong, we'll just go and apologize. That's just the way we are.'- Selena Quintanilla. Family will always be there for you no matter what y/nn " Lauren told y/n " thank you Lauren for your help I'll go apologize to my mom. By the way have you ever had a disagreement with your mom?" Y/n asked her cousin " yes of course I have despite the fact I'm on the Internet. I should get off of it. And she said I shouldn't post pictures of myself on the Internet or do anything in the public eye but it's not like they know she's my mom or anything so. We argued about it a few times but then she gave up when she realized she can't change my mind and she told me as long as I'm happy and safe it's OK with her" Lauren answered with a smile. I went down to talk to my mom. She told me that she'll start canceling her plans on the days I have my meets and that she'll stop working on the weekends.
