"Akutagawa, if you don't hurry up we'll be late!" Chuuya yelled at me.
"I'm coming." I hollered back, knowing that if I didn't hurry, he would use the force of gravity to get me there. I met up with the short male and followed him out to the car we were going to be taking to our destination. I climbed into the passenger's seat and found that Higuchi, Gin, and Tachihara were in the back seat.
I shot a questioning look at the driver who just shrugged. 'They didn't want to ride with Hirotsu, Mori, Elise, and Dazai." I nodded in understanding before looking out the window as we drove.
The pool party Mori had planned consisted of very few people. Those people were Tachihara, Hirotsu, Gin, Higuchi, Mori, Dazai, Chuuya, Jinko, Elise, and myself.
Just over 15 minutes later, we arrived at our destination and climbed out of the vehicle. It wasn't until we were standing with the other group of people when I realized someone was missing.
Where is the weretiger?
Dazai must have caught onto my confused state because he just sent me a look. "Don't worry Akutagawa, Junichiro is going to drop him off in a little bit. He had some reports to finish before he could come."
"Don't say that you suicidal maniac, we all know that you probably dumped all of your work on him." Chuuya exclaimed before following my sister into the pool area.
I followed behind him and looked around the small area with a sigh. There were six pool chairs on one side of the pool while the other had two tables with umbrellas hanging over them with four chairs at each table. There was one diving board on the far side of the pool where the water was the deepest. I set my things down on one of the tables where Gin and Chuuya placed their things. Dazai had taken over the other table and no one bothered to tell him to move.
I internally chuckled at his choice of a swimsuit. The shorts were a little short for my taste, but they had little fish designs on them that brought out his childlike behavior more than usual. I glanced around and saw that Tachihara was wearing dark green shorts with red splotches on them, making it look as though they were splattered in blood. Mori was wearing plain dark red shorts and Elise was wearing a matching one piece. Chuuya was wearing blue shorts with small black details that were hard to make out unless you were standing close to him. Higuchi was wearing a yellow bikini with a halter-like top and high waisted bottoms. Gin was wearing a black top that ended just above her belly button and black, skirt-like bottoms that ended halfway down her thigh. Hirotsu was wearing plain purple shorts.
I had settled on a pair of black and white shorts that Gin insisted I wear because it matches my hair. I gave in because I knew from personal encounters how persistent she could be. I sat down in one of the chairs at the table, not planning on getting in the pool yet. But, as luck would have it, my plans were ruined by my ex mentor as well as my current mentor.
Dazai grabbed a hold of my wrist while Chuuya activated his ability and cast it on me so that I was floating towards the pool. I began thrashing around and tried to get away from the two, but with the tight wrist Dazai had on my wrist as well as Chuuya's ability, my attempts to fight back were futile. Before I knew what was happening, I hit the water and was submerged completely.
My feet touched the bottom and I kicked off as hard as I could to get back to the surface. When my head exited the water, I began coughing and tried to catch my breath at the exact moment I heard Dazai's voice yell.
"ATSUSHI! YOU MADE IT!" He exclaimed, causing me to turn towards the sound of his voice.
As if to prove me right, the appearance of the weretiger on the opposite side of the fence caught the attention of the group of people. Upon the attention, his face flushed red which I found cute.
