My name is Jen, Jen Haile. A few years ago, my dad disappeared. No one had the slightest clue what happened to him. I noticed that a couple days before my dad's vanishing, he was acting strange. He seemed to just rant on & on about how he would find "it". Though neither me or my mom knew what "it" was. He became very interested in egyptian writings. Specifically ones that talked about the underworld. Everything he talked about within those days related to hell. Well anyways, i'm 17 years old and ever since my dad vanished me and my mom had to start working jobs. My mom just thinks my dad was a total douchebag and was cheating on her and just wanted to leave. Well, on with the story, one day I found something very strange.

I opened my eyes to the sun filtering through my bedroom window. A majestic robin was perched on the branch of an oak tree outside my window. I sat up and turned my head towards the alarm clock. "9:00!" I groaned. I was late for my job again. Quickly, I got up and changed into my clothes. I opened my rusty-hinged door and walked down the stairs, each step making a distinctive creaky sound. My mom was sitting in the love-seat in the living room watching the morning news. "Hey mom, i'm gonna leave now." I said to my mother, "Okay Jen, be safe." My mom replied. I got up and gave her a hug and rushed out the door. I was pulling out of my gravel driveway when my nissan gave a quick shake. Scared, I got out of my car and found a rabbit I had run over. It was clearly crippled but it still ran as fast as it could with its crippled leg it could possibly go. Two minutes later, I just shrugged it off and decided to leave. I opened my car door when I heard a much large rustling coming from the bushes. It couldn't possibly be a rabbit. I slowly walked down towards the bushes. Me, being the idiot that I am, tripped over a rock and fell into the bush, ruining my clothes. I looked up to see a huge sink hole on the other side of the bush. Then I made the biggest mistake of my life, I peered in.
