Unpredictable-The Future

Maria has waited 18 years of her life for her magic to be awakened. All of her peers had; it was a tradition. And that day, she was going to discover her magic.

All of her peers had predictions of what their magic would be. They would often inherit some or multiple different types of the magic their parents had. But for Maria, who grew up in an orphanage and whose parents were complete mysteries, the possibilities were endless. And she was ecstatic.

She and her classmates lined up, most of them discussing their predictions, and others describing the process of magic awakening. Maria overheard that their parents had experienced a jolt of energy, and the magic left them involuntarily. That's why, they said, the class always has to stand back, otherwise they could get injured.

The line began winding down, and Maria watched her classmates, one after the other, use their magic for the first time. Some had forcefields, others had lightning bolts, and many were the same as their peers' magic. Maria wondered for a fleeting moment if her magic would be unique.

After what could have been hours in her mind, Maria's turn had arrived. The teachers gathered around her, still keeping a reasonable distance, and suddenly, she felt like she would explode with power.

In an instant, Maria blacked out. As her vision gradually returned, she froze in shock.

There was a golden cloud formed around her and there was a rounded rectangle in which a scene or most probably the future was being shown; there was she and her best friend Harris standing with the Headmaster talking about their magic in a cave.

It was clear to Maria that the power she got was predicting the future. This magic only ran in one sacred family, the Dawson family. The family died in a horrible car crash on October 26th which as rumours told were done by their enemies. It was assumed that all the members of the family had died in the car and the magic of predicting the future too. But today it was clear that the magic still flowed in the last heir of the family or was it the last two heirs.

The teachers saw only the golden cloud around Maria and the future was only visible to Maria but the teachers knew that this magic was predicting the future. They then called Maria to the corner of the room and told her that after all the students get their magic she will be taken to the headmaster's office. Maria who was still shocked about her magic and her connection towards the sacred family nodded her head in agreement.

After that, some more students got their magic but when the last student Harris came, Maria knew something extraordinary was going to happen as he was standing with her and the headmaster in her vision. Harris then stands at the position and then a large golden cloud is formed around him just like Maria. Maria seeing this is totally shocked. It was clear that Harris was her brother; no he was her twin brother as the Dawson family only had twin boy and girl. There was always a strange bond between them that they couldn't explain, they would always fight and get angry towards each other but still kept their friendship no matter what. Today they understood that this strange bond was nothing else but love towards each other that they shared since before being born. 

Maria now wondered what vision Harris might have seen but her thought was interrupted by the teachers who were now in total shock seeing two heirs of the Dawson family. They called both the students to come to the Headmaster's office.

Both Maria and Harris when walking towards the Headmaster's office started talking.

"I can't believe it that we are actually twins well I knew there was some connection between us but this is shocking." Harris said

"Yeah who knew you would be my twin brother." Maria said

" You are saying this in a good or bad way?" Harris asked
