"Ooohh! He has it bad for you Aura!"

"Will, it's fake."

"Shush, don't ruin my vibe!"

She glided across the floor—and I mean glided—and turned on her speaker. She dug her phone out of her pocket, switched it on and scrolled on it for a few seconds. She started playing, 'Just the two of us.'

"Oh god, Willow!"

"Come on! Dance with me! It's a momentous occasion!"

She ran over to me and put her arms around my neck. I grunted but put my hands on her hips and swayed with her to the music.

"Sooo! When's the trip?"

"Two months. We're going to Paris."

"God, your family is going to be hell," she whispered under her breath.

"Tell me about it. Hopefully Enzo will help out with it."

"Mm, well how exactly did your family find out about this mysterious man again?"

"Told them I had a boyfriend when I was dating Josh, but I never actually gave them any details about him. Guess what! They weren't proud, thought I was dating some drug dealer or something."

"We're sure Enzo isn't a drug dealer?"

"I'm sure, his mother would kill him."

"You met his parents?"

I sighed, "Sit down Willow, we haven't had a chat in ages. I have so much shit to tell you."

++++

"I love you."

I couldn't get a breath in because Willow was basically crushing my lungs. Once she heard about my...struggles, she pulled me into a tight hug, and she hasn't let go for a while.

"Why didn't you tell me Aura?" she muttered. I had to strain to hear her.

"I didn't know how, and I didn't want you putting up with my shit. You seemed so happy... I didn't want to be a burden."

She pulled back and cupped my face with her hands, "You would never be a burden for expressing your feelings, Aurora. You are my best friend, and I fell in love with Aurora Rae and her beautiful personality, her bravery, her confidence, and her beauty. You are worth it Aurora; you always will be."

A tear rolled down my cheek. Willow wiped it away and pulled my into a hug again. I wrapped my arms around her shoulders and buried my face in her shoulder.

"I love you," I mumbled quietly.

"I love you too Aura."

We stayed in this hugging position for ages. I silently let my tears fall onto Willow's shoulder.

Once we pulled away, I swiped at my face and put a smile on my face.

"Are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?"

"No, I want to know about you know Willow. What's been going on with Rowan?"

"Aura—"

"Seriously Willow, I'm okay. I don't want to talk about it too much, makes me feel shittier."

"Are you sure?"

"Of course, tell me!"

She smiled and blushed.

"Ooh! You've got a crush!"

"Stop!" She hit my arm and giggled, "He's just a friend."

"Friend my ass!"
