About a week after Enzo and his father reunited, we decided to take the boys out one last time. After that, we would be packing and heading off to Paris.

Even though I insisted that Enzo should stay and watch over his mother and father, he declined and told me that they would be okay. I looked at him hesitantly, but he just beamed and flicked my nose.

"Rory! Let's go!"

"Coming!" I clipped on my earrings and quickly put on my shoes before leaving my room and rushing out the front door. I waved goodbye to Willow and Rowan who were watching a horror movie on the sofa.

"Bye!" They both said in unison.

I slammed the front door shut and jogged down the hallway to catch up to Enzo.

"Fucking hell, you walk fast."

"What can I say? I've got long legs."

"Obviously, dumbass."

"That's not the only thing that's long—"

I gasped and hit his shoulder. He bent over and began laughing. I tried to contain my grin but couldn't.

I groaned as I clicked the elevator button and crossed my arms. I watched him as he had his laughing fit.

His laugh was addicting.

"You've got the dirtiest mouth."

"And you've got a dirty mind."

"For god's sakes, Enzo."

The elevator doors finally opened after what felt like an eternity. I grabbed him by the ear and dragged him inside, scolding him for his immaturity.

"Bye mom!" The boys said as they ran out of their apartment and down the hallway.

Enzo's grip on my hand tightened as he said goodbye to both his parents. His eyes lingered on his father, almost as if he was giving him a silent warning not to do anything to his mother.

His father returned Enzo's glare with a small smile before shutting the front door.

"Enzo let's go. She will be fine; we can call her to make sure as well. Okay?"

He nodded stiffly and started toward the elevator bay where the boys were most likely waiting for us. We walked down the hallway together seeing as Enzo didn't want to let go of my hand.

I didn't like how I didn't mind it.

I had a growing attraction toward Enzo, and it was getting out of control. I was terrified of going to Paris with him. I mean, Paris is literally known as 'The City of Love.' And god knows how much time we will need to be spending swooning over each other.

I was fucked.

"Hey? You alright?"

"Huh? Oh sorry, I tend to space out."

"I noticed. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, of course. What about you? Are you okay?"

"I'm a little on edge, but overall, I'm okay."

"We can talk about it later, if you'd like of course."

He smiled as we finally reached the elevator bay where the boys were jumping up and down. They were both talking to each other and coming up with guesses of where we were headed today. Enzo and I hadn't told them we were going to the cinema today. Then, we were going to end it with two games of bowling.
