I was sat in bed counting down the seconds until my alarm went off. I was too excited for today that I woke up before my alarm. As soon as it went off I jumped out of bed and straight into the shower I went. While washing my hair and the rest I just started thinking about who the cast would be. Sean had told me that the movie was called Martha Marcy May Marlene and that Martha was around 20-22 years old so I was very curious as to who would be playing Martha, especially since I would more than likely be spending loads of time with the cast, whether it be getting them ready for their scenes, getting them food or maybe just maybe helping Sean with some directoral jobs....but I know that's a long shot and that I'm just here to get experience which I am sooo ok with.
Once I'm out of the shower I put on my outfit that I had mentally picked out while waiting for my alarm to go off. I was just hoping it was all clean. Thankfully everything was clean and I decided on wear my blue straight leg jeans, a white short sleeve top and a beige/brown cardigan over it because although it was sunny today there was a slight breeze. I paired it with my white converse and stuffed my phone, car keys and charger into my bag with the rest of the junk i "need". Outfit inspo:

Once I was dress and completed my light makeup also straightening my hair I went out to make myself some breakfast, I had a simple poached egg on toast and made a Berry smoothie to take with me to work. It was 7:30 by the time I was leaving my apartment and with a 15 minute driving I left plenty time for some LA traffic so I would still be early because as my mother always says "on time is late".

When I pulled into the set parking lot the security guard gave me a parking pass and my work id after giving him my name. Seeing my name in proper ink on a card with the production company and movie title just made this all seem real finally. I parked my car and headed towards the main door of the building where Sean said he'd meet me at 8. It was 7:50 but I decided I would just go wait at the door so I wouldn't seem to be strolling in 8 on the dot. After 5 minutes of waiting I looked up from checking my emails and saw a shortish bald man walking towards me wearing sunglasses.
"Y/n y/l/n hope you haven't been waiting too long but glad to see that you were here before me. Good first impression" He greets me while holding out his hand.
" Oh hi, so nice to meet you and no no I haven't been waiting long. Thank you so much again for this opportunity" I say back, probably a bit to enthusiastic.
He walks past me signalling me to follow. "The cast and rest of the crew will get here for around 9am so I have roughly an hour to go through the basics jobs and roles I will need you to carry out for me" I nod along while he explains what exactly I will be carrying out for the upcoming months while giving me a tour of the set. He shows me the break room where I will be collecting the cast for their scenes as well as showing me where their trailers are. He also highlights where the wardrobe and styling departments are located.
