=JR Clinic=
Efiáltis carefully finished bandaging the stranger after cleaning all of their wounds, "Láthos love tell them I am done. It should be okay for Grail to come back now."
Grail hurried into the room, eyes still glowing and Láthos clutched like a teddy bear. "Are they going to be okay?"
Meláni, Cyan, and Stavrós peek through the doorway curious but not wanting to get in Grail's way or replace Láthos who just looked so done with everything.
"I don't know Grail. I just don't know. I patched him up but he is resistant to healing magic, and gives no sign of waking up. I can confirm he is Láthos's counterpart. I am only guessing on this but he doesn't appear to be mortal. I can't see any other way he is still alive." Efiáltis rubbed his face and sighed. "Grail brother, he should stay here. JR is better equipped to take care of him."
Grail finally passes Láthos to Efiáltis. "You have to stay if he is Láthos's counterpart then your being here will contribute to his ability to heal."
"N-normally I w-would argue that E-Efiáltis, m-might not b-be able h-help, b-but if h-he tr-triggered Grail..." Láthos gives up on his stuttering and switches to sign language. 'If he is close enough to trigger Grail then while Efiáltis probably doesn't match his counterpart the similarities might ease the separation.'
"So Grail is right and you guys are finally moving into JR. Good thing I have your paperwork ready to go spoiler alert you got convicted and sentenced to community service at that orphanage you volunteer at every other weekend. You are welcome." Cyan lounges in the doorframe smirking at having out maneuvered everyone.
Grail stares at Cyan, "I don't think I should ask how many files and government systems you hacked to pull that off."
"Not that many really. It helps that everything they have ever been charged with was very minor or from JR and you dropped all the JR stuff a few years ago." Cyan shrugs still smug and enjoying Grail's instant blush.
Stavrós shakes his head glancing at Meláni, "and we are called the criminals? What does that make him?"
"Useful and extremely annoying if you try to get rid of him." Meláni shrugs, not even pretending it made sense.
Cyan gasps and clutches his chest. "You mean you don't love me anymore?"
Meláni gave him a grumpy look, "like I ever did?" He rolls his ever charging eyelights.
Stavrós chuckles watching, "sneaky and manipulative but I will take it this time."
Efiáltis looks from the skeleton in the hospital bed to Láthos and sighs, "okay it isn't too much to ask. Not when I would want my counterpart to do the same if it was my soulmate."
Grail grins and pulls Efiáltis into a hug mantling his wings a little. "You'll see Efiáltis things are different now. I learned my lesson and I won't let anyone bother you."
"Whatever, just remember you are not in charge of my team. If we need to spread some negativity we will prank and you can't stop us." Efiáltis grumbled but hugged back.
"Sure whatever, just don't end up with a warrant out for your arrest again. Or kill anyone important." Grail grins finally getting what he has been after since he got some sense knocked into his thick skull by almost losing Efiáltis.
Láthos laughs softly and leans against Efiáltis, "you can finally beat Grail at all the video games you couldn't play with him while on the run."
