Chapter 9

"Hobi?", Taehyung questioned him.

"Yes hobi! He has a very pretty smile!", Soobin said, looking in the direction where Hobi was supposed to be next to him.

Taehyung took a moment to think when it came to him that in Soobin's age they will have these imaginary friends. He smiled at Soobin, so he played along with him.

"Hi hobi, my name is Taehyung", Taehyung introduced himself. Did it feel weird talking to something that wasn't even there...yes.

"Hobi says he already knows since he's been watching over you since you first came here", Soobin said, getting his bunny and setting it next to him. Smiling at how Hobi's hand reached to touch the ears of the stuffed animal.

"So Hobi is an angel?", Taehyung asked him. It sounded like Hobi is an angel.

Soobin made a confused face. "Hobi, are you an angel?"

Taehyung looked at the bunny as waiting for it to move, making his heart beat faster.

"Hobi doesn't know, but he lights up the whole room though", Soobin told him, turning around to face him.

Taehyung nodded, he looked around the room "Well it was nice meeting you Hobi. I'm going to help your parents Soobin."

Taehyung stood up and left the room. As he was heading downstairs he felt dizzy no more like the temperature got cold again. He ignored it and headed towards the living room.

Jungkook was in the living room putting down a box and he noticed his husband coming in.

"Did you go to check on Soobin?", He asked.

"Yeah, looks like he has an imaginary friend now."

Jungkook frowned, "An imaginary friend?"

"Kids at his age have imaginary friends", Taehyung told him.

Jungkook nodded, but something was weird...

"So you're telling me Soobin has this imaginary friend named Hobi?", Jin asked as he was folding clothes. Right now they were in his and Namjoon's room. They were setting up their things.

"Yes, isn't it cute he was even sharing his bunny!", Taehyung told him, hanging up a picture of Soobin on the wall.

"Well that's a first...could it be that he's lonely?", Jin asked as he slowly lowered the clothing he was folding.

Taehyung looked at him, they did move out of town. Heck, he doesn't even know if he has any neighbors.

"Why don't we all go out tomorrow and look around. I couldn't go out by myself and Jungkook is busy. Now that you guys are here it won't be that lonely.", Taehyung said to him that hopefully, he will not feel bad about moving.

"That sounds like a new plan. Alright then let's hang out tomorrow and buy me a new phone and Namjoon too. I thought we would today but the movers came and it took the whole day."

Both were chatting away as if nothing was creeping underneath the bed...

Everything was arranged in Soobin's room, thanks to Jungkook and Namjoon putting everything in their place.

Soobin was digging through his box that said books.

"Here are some of my favorite books I like to read. This one is about the carousel", Soobin showed him the book.

Hobi was sitting on his bed, seeing how his new friend was taking out books he never heard of.

Soobin went to sit next to him with the book in his hands.

"But first, how old are you, Hobi? You look smaller than me", Soobin asked him.

"I'm...I don't know how old I am...I lost count.", Hobi said sadly, looking down at his lap.

"When's your birthday, maybe my papa could find out how old you are", Soobin told him, not wanting him to be sad because his light slowly turns off when he's upset.

"Really?!", Hobi asked excitedly.

Soobin nodded, "Mhm, my uncle calls him a math genius."

Just as Soobin was about to open his book his closet opened rapidly making him feel the air pressure that was thrown on him.

Soobin blocked himself with the book in his hands. Hobi got up from the bed knowing who did that.

"Soobin, go to your mama and papa right now!"

"Wha-", before Soobin could say more hobi already left. With that Soobin ran out of his room not looking back at his room.

The book he was holding fell on the floor making a thud noise.

Pages were flipped and stopped on a picture of a girl riding on a carousel.

The smile on the girl's face turned to a sinister smile showing blood coming out of its mouth and leaving a peal of disgusting laughter...

Soobin broke into his parents' room, scaring Jin and Taehyung that were sitting on the bed.

"Soobin you scared us! You should knock first baby", Jin softly scolded him.

Soobin ran to Jin's arms, hugging him tightly. Jin was confused but picked up his son to hug him more comfortably.

"Did something happen baby?", Jin asked him, patting his hair.

"No, I just want to cuddle with you", Soobin said, burying himself in his mother's neck.
