Haha, I was looking back through my message board to see that the date I posted this story was November, 4th 2012. I can't believe it has almost been a year since I published this onto Wattpad! I'll definitely be bringing some surpirses on that day ;D
Enjoy my little pumpkins!

I have to tell my brothers – I thought. If I was by myself, I would’ve just broke down there and then, willing for the pain in my wrist to disappear; the people that are hunting me to give up and go away.
But that obviously wasn’t going to happen. And I couldn’t be a wimp.
I pushed myself up off the ground, holding onto the wall with my good hand, and tried not to fall back down. The room spun a little, but I pushed the nauseous feeling back, telling myself that I have to get to Dylan and Isaac before anything could happen to me again.
Heading down the corridor, I used my senses to find out where Isaac was sleeping. Luckily he wasn’t that far away. I should’ve called to him when I was in trouble. Hey, I should’ve been able to fight back.
I knocked on the door before entering, thinking that Sarah could still be up, not wanting to come across rude. I mean, I’ve only known her for around five hours – we aren’t necessarily the best of friends.
The room was dark when I’d walked in, and I’m pretty sure I stumbled over a shoe as I fell to the ground with a light thud. Both Isaac and Sarah were asleep in the bed, snuggling up to each other as loud snores left Isaac’s nose.
“Isaac?” I whispered, giving him a light shove. By accident I used my bad wrist to wake him up, and I had to bite my lip to distract myself from the pain. Tears welled up in my eyes, and I knew if I talked, I would break down. I would be a wimp.
Eventually, Isaac turned over, a frown on his face. I kept a tight grip on my wrist, willing the pain to go away so the metallic taste of blood would disappear from my mouth.
“Holly?” He asked. “What’s wrong?”
“I…I’m so sorry…I couldn’t…I should’ve…”
“Hey, stop.” He said softly, prying Sarah off him and motioning me out of the room. Tears were cascading down my face, the taste of salt entering my mouth.
Isaac wiped away the tears with his thumb, concern clearly shown across his face. I sobbed even more; I hated seeing him like this.
After what seemed like forever, the tears stopped, the nauseous feeling disappeared, and I felt normal. Kind of.
“Are you going to tell me what’s wrong?” He asked, and I could tell that he’d informed Dylan because I felt his presence.
Less than a minute later, Dylan appeared next to Isaac, wearing only a pair of boxers. I would’ve laughed if this wasn’t so serious.
“The guy…he sent someone to warn me…he broke my wrist.” I looked down at the bruised bone that was known as my wrist. Dylan clenched his fists, anger boiling up inside of him. However Isaac looked even more concerned.
“Are you OK?” Dylan asked.
“I’m fine.” I blurted out, waving him off. That wasn’t the point I was trying to get across.
“What did he warn you about?” Isaac questioned.
“They’re coming earlier than we think.” I stated. “It’s Tuesday morning, and he’s expected to be here on Friday. But if they’re supposed to be coming earlier…they could be here now. We aren’t ready. We’re gonna lose.”
“No.” Dylan said firmly. “We aren’t. I’m not losing you again.”
“Dylan…” I began feeling faint.
“NO!” He roared. “You aren’t going anywhere!”
“Guys.” Isaac warned.
“Will you just take a second to think how hard this is going to be?” I asked Dylan, my voice gradually getting louder and louder. “We can’t just kill a pack. I…I can’t. It’s not as easy as you think. There’s so much responsibility being put on me, and all you care about is keeping me here. I understand that, but at the moment I have a huge weight on my shoulders. Whoever dies…it’s because of me.” The room began to spin again. “Either way it’s my fault.”
“Holly-”
“I shouldn’t have come back.” I whispered. “I should’ve fought alone.”
“You aren’t listening-”
My legs buckled, and I fell to the ground, darkness taking over me.
Isaac's POV
"They're what?" Dad roared, grabbing the edge of his desk.
"They're coming today." Mom repeated, her face turning an ugly shade of green.
"What are we going to do?" Dylan said, clearly frustrated. He was sat beside my mother on one of the couches in my dad's office.
"I guess the only thing we have left to do is prepare for it. I'll call an emergency pack meeting; someone tell Holly in the morning." Dad said, fumbling with random pieces of paper that were scattered across his desk.
"I'll do it." Dylan and I said in unison.
"You'll both do it." Mom's voice was firm as she rose from her chair and headed over to dad. "You guys are her brothers, you're here to protect her. Don't let her down, boys."
"Never." I confirmed, then headed out of the room with Dylan.
Holly's POV
I woke in the morning with a stiff neck, sore hand, and tear stained face. I knew that I'd only slept for a couple of hours or so by the amount of time it took for me to adjust to the blinding sun shining through the curtains.
A vibration came from my right, and I peered over to the bedside table to see my phone was lying there. I automatically reached for it to see that I had six new messages. Frowning, I opened them all.

My face went pale as I threw my phone across the room, a loud bang echoing the pale coloured walls.
Sitting up, I whispered breathlessly, "It's my birthday?"
