Dylan's POV

"They're here." Isaac said, his breath ragged. "The hunters - they're here."

My stomach turned, before a loud, fierce growl erupted from behind me, echoing the room. I turned around, and inwardly cursed as I saw that Holly had fully transformed.

"We have to get out." Isaac demanded. "Now!"

He forcefully grabbed my arm and pushed me out of the room, locking the door behind him and motioning for me to go up the stairs.

"She's going to get out of there." I stated once he'd locked the basement door.

     "I know." He said.

"Then why did you bother locking her in there?" I questioned, following him down the hall.

"Because it'll occupy her for at least five minutes. We need as much time as we can possibly get." Isaac turned a sharp corner into my dad's office.

"Why do we need time?" I asked.

Isaac turned around to face me, "You really think we should let a teenage girl who has just shifted for the first time out into the wild? No? I didn't think so. Now have a look at this."

I followed him over to the window overlooking the entrance to our pack house and gulped when I saw that our house was surrounded by werewolves. Hundreds, possibly thousands were here, and they were all armed with weapons.

"I didn't expect this many." Isaac whispered, worry clearly clouded across his face.

"There isn't enough of us to fight, Isaac." I added.

"We can only try, can't we? I mean, we are trying to save our sisters life."

"True. Maybe if we try and reason with them they'll back off." I said, crossing my arms.

     "Dad already is."

"Let's go check it out." I nodded towards the exit before heading out of the building.

"What I'm trying to say is that it's pointless fighting." I heard dad say as Isaac and I walked outside. "You shouldn't have to risk your lives for such a stupid reason."

"A stupid reason?" Someone in the crowd retorted.

And then a figure began to retreat to the front of the crowd. My fists clenched when I saw who it was, and my dad took a protective step in front of my mom. I could also see that Isaac was trying to restrain himself from jumping on this guy, but at the moment it was affecting him very well. Every single person in our pack knew who this man was, and they all knew that he was a threat to us.

     "David."

That was the name we all knew very well.

"Michael Watson." David, or should I say Alpha David, said as a smirk shone brightly on his face. "Long time no see."

"It hasn't been long enough." Dad retorted. "Let it go, David."

"Let it go? Are you being serious? You stole my wife away from me, and you think that I shouldn't get revenge from that? You're funny, Michael. Real funny."

"You aren't getting her!" Mom shouted angrily, baring her teeth at David. "We've already lost her once, I'm not ready to lose her again."

"He took you, so I'm going to take her. Now where is she?" David demanded, taking a threatening step forwards.

Our full pack was surrounding the house, and they all growled towards David, getting ready to attack.

"We're not telling you." I hissed.

"Oh, then I guess we'll have to get her the hard way." He concluded. "Get them!"
