Mark's eyes widened and he took my hand, firmly. Grace, Paige, and Elliot all gasped at the same time.
"We couldn't -"
"I'll do it." I said.
"SCARLET!" Mark seemed shocked, upset, and disappointed all at once at what I just said, "We can't let this bitch walk all over us like this! We can't just give her what she wants -"
"It's not like she could do anything to us," I said, "Besides, I think it'll do good for us, since I have a couple of things I'd like to ask her."
"Scarlet, isn't this the 'psycho ex-girlfriend with extra steps' we talked about earlier?" Grace asked, "Are you sure you even want to go near her?"
"Huh? Girlfriend?" said Paige, then she turned to me, "Scarlet, what does that mean? Who is this woman we're talking about?"
"Gwen is the crazy bitch that tried to kill us all back at the prison camp we were in a year ago." said Becky, then she gave Paige, Elliot, and Grace the full story of what we went through at Packington, then I explained what happened afterwards, while Mark and Becky told them what they had gone through after what happened to them.
By the time we all finished our stories, Paige and Grace looked horrified, while Elliot looked angry.
"I want to kill that bitch with my own hands." said Elliot, rubbing his hands together like he wasn't sure what to do with them at the moment.
"I can't believe you'd want to talk to someone like that after everything she put you through!" said Grace.
"I agree." We all turned to the doorway to see Brandon and Dustin walk in.
"Simon got us all up to speed," said Brandon, "Would you be upset if I went out there and broke Gwen's legs really quick?"
"We'll hold off on that for now," said Mark after he was finished chuckling, "If anything, Scarlet's got first dibs on her."
"But wait, Scarlet's going to talk to her?!" said Dustin, "That sounds like... a really bad idea, you know what I mean?"
"We really don't have much of a choice, do we?" I said, "She said she'll tell us what we need to do, all I need to do is just have a couple minute's talk with her."
"What if it's some kind of trap?!" said Brandon, "Gwen's a sneaky one."
"Not this time," said Mark, "I knew she wouldn't plan on getting Scarlet with him, this motive of her's is too personal. It didn't take a genius to figure out that she's doing all of this alone. Sid's gonna be upset when he's learned what she's done."
"Sid was a counselor from A cabin too," I said, remembering the man much to my own dismay, "He attacked Brandon, busted his leg. Apparently, me hitting him over the head with blunt things wasn't even a one-time thing."
"He probably would have killed me that night if it weren't for you." said Brandon, "I want to see him."
"One battle at a time," said Mark, "Right now, we're trying to convince Scarlet that letting her talk to Gwen is a bad idea."
"Is it though?" said Dustin, "Maybe letting the two of them talk for a bit is a good idea?"
Before Mark could say anything, Dustin kept talking.
"Hear me out. We know that Gwen isn't going to be able to manipulate Scarlet because of their past, so she's the best person to talk to her. Anyone else on Gwen's side might not be able to either, since Scarlet knows what Gwen is full of."
"Thank you Dustin," I said, smiling before I glanced over at Mark, "He knows what he's talking about. There's nothing Gwen can do that'll make me turn to her side."
