"Kozume? What are you doing here I thought your classroom was a few down?" a girl spoke with a soft voice, cm/n. Fuck what was she doing here so early? Kenma quickly got up and collected himself.Adjusting his uniform he speaks with his eyes turned to the ground. "A-ah no this is my class. you must be confusing me with someone else..I'm just doing..normal things" He tried to sound as confident as he could but poor kenma is only used to talking to his teammates and his cat. The girl giggled in a forced way before snapping into a preppy voice"Oh well.. aren't you lonely being in this big classroom by yourself? come hang out with me and my friends!" the invite sounded genuine but kenma wasn't one to hang out with random people, but the more he thought about it.. he remembered seeing cm/n in some of y/n's instagram posts. This offer was turning out to be a gift from God.
He shook his head and started to walk towards her. As they stepped out of the classroom, kenma started to think about why a popular girl would ask a loser like him in the first place instead of just leaving him to creep around until the morning bell rung? Soon enough kenma would get his answer.
"Soooo.. Kozume you're friends with Kuroo-senpai right?" "Right." Of course. An invite only to be asked about his best friend. Kenma didn't mind , i mean kuroo is very popular so girls chasing after him wasn't a surprise and he can't complain about whatever could help him get closer to y/n-chan.
The girl, who kenma learned is named Yuki would ask questions about kuroo and he would answer honestly, until finally they reached y/n-chan's friend group.
Holy crap. His heart started beating to the max and his vision turned blurry with a tint of...pink? This was odd he really did feel like he was in another reality the closer he got to her. Blood started rushing throughout his body causing him to feel like he was on fire with each step he took. 2..3..4.. he was counting as a form of calming himself down whenever he'd get a panic attack, but this.. was different not even taking deep breathes helped him.
"Uhm.. Kozume are you alright ? you look pale-" **BOOM**
The next thing kenma knew he was waking up in the nurses office with kuroo right by his side. As he went to sit up an ice pack fell off of his forehead, turned to water by this point. "KENMA-" Kuroo says while leaping to holding kenma's face in his hands, examining every pore. "I..i was so worried. A kind girl named yuki came running into the gym looking for me spouting that kozume suddenly collapsed suddenly and needed his best friend.I even had to carry you and wipe your nose bleed, I'm not your mom so don't make me do that again... The nurse said you're fine, just that your body over released blah blah blah i wasn't understanding her fully." Kuroo continued to blabber on about how disappointed he was that kenma wasn't properly taking care of himself gosh he really did act like his mother at times. Anyway all kenma could think about was y/n and how be completely blew his shot at "Plan A: befriend y/n so no one gets hurt" "Did..did any of the girls say anything about me after i fell?" kenma asked in a weak voice. "Uhm..something about acting strange..BUT don't worry about it.. I called your mom and she said as soon as you wake up to bring you home and help you rest for the remainder of the day!" kuroo spoke with a smile that could only be given with love. "great" kenma mumbled.
A/N omg.it's been a little over 3 years since i first published this story and about 2 since i ghosted it.. HAHA but i am back hopefully you can tell it still me ! this writing is really rushed so it may not be the best but it's 12 am and i need rest BUT FOR SURE I WONT LEAVE THIS STORY ANY LONGER. i know many people have left their anime phases but for those loyal ones who are still here.. i love you. since i've been gone it really made me realize how much i love reading so yeah def won't be leaving and if anything i'll come back with even more stories! lmk abt any mistakes or if you wanna see anything in this story !
