"𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢! 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦?!" A man's voice echoed through Milla's brain. Milla attempted to keep her balance as the ballroom floor moved like small waves on an ocean. Agents scrambled around to try and get to closest exits. Milla stumbled onto her feet to avoid being trampled by terrified agents and pushed her way through them.
"𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘶𝘮 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘝𝘰𝘭𝘵 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘤 𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘺." Milla replied while watching the scene.
Agents threw themselves against the doors in attempts to escape, but Victor's psychic powers had somehow locked them. Anita and Alphonse watched in horror, backing away from Victor while he continued his rampage. Small flames sparked from Victor and slowly trailed towards the curtains. The walls and ceiling made eerie gurgling noises and looked as if they were melting. Victor then turned his attention to Alphonse and Anita "Now just where are you going?". "Victor, have you gone mad!?" Anita cried. "Look, I know that you didn't get a sculpture, and you were humiliated, but that doesn't mean you can just hurt everybody!".
Victor's eye twitched "I didn't get a sculpture?". Victor's face was completely blank, a wide-eyed thousand-mile stare pierced straight through Anita. "I didn't get a sculpture?" Victor's brows began to furrow while slowly walking over to the two. The curtains bursted into flames, Anita and Alphonse jumped back in fear while Victor edged closer and closer to them. "Oh no, don't worry, I'm clearly not upset about the statue." Victor hissed. "I'm upset over how you guys have abused and used me!" Victor yelled. The gurgling in the walls quickly turned to explosions, as the pipes had begun to burst, boiling hot water exploded from the pipes. Screams of agony filled the room as agents were getting scalded left and right.
Milla quickly formed a psi-shield to avoid being scalded before running over to a spot far from where the pipes were exploding.
"Victor, you don't need to get violent about this, we can talk things out!" Anita fearfully exclaimed. "Talk things out? Yeah, sure we'll talk this all out! You all can gaslight me about how you're just 'looking out for me' and then you guys go back to treating me like crap!".
"𝘘𝘶𝘪𝘤𝘬, 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵!" Milla exclaimed. "𝘞𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯." A little boy's voice replied. "𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 𝘙𝘢𝘻𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘯." Milla replied. Milla began to form a mental connection with Victor's mind, in an attempt to communicate with him.
"𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘮𝘦?" Milla said. Victor ignored Milla, as his mind was filled with thoughts of vengeance rather than reason. "I can hear you loud and clear Anita," Victor replied "Shame I don't want to listen to what you have to say.". Anita was left confused by what Victor was talking about, only coming to the conclusion Victor had finally lost it.
"𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘈𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘢, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢!" Milla said. Victor looked around for where Milla was standing finally spotting her at the left side of the stage. "Milla?" Victor tilted his head. "𝘠𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯, 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶!" Milla exclaimed. "Says the one who jumpstarted this disaster! Thanks to you, I got humiliated!" Victor replied. Milla shook her head "𝘓𝘰𝘰𝘬, 𝘐 𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯! 𝘊𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨?".
Victor paused and looked around the ballroom. He heard bloodcurdling screams of agony from agents that were getting scalded and watched as their skin was melted off from the heat. He saw agents hurling themselves against the doors until they were bruised. Agents trampled and shoved one another as they attempted to escape.
Victor turned to see Anita and Alphonse's mortified expressions as they shivered in terror. He'd never seen them so terrified like this in his life, especially Anita. Anita was a strong, almost fearless young woman, she had never she looked so terrified in Victor's life.
A moment of regret overcame Victor as he witnessed everyone suffer at the hands of his rage. While they may have laughed at and taunted him, they still didn't deserve to be terrorized so horribly like this. "O-oh m-my God..." Tears slid down Victor's cheeks once realization kicked in.
The ballroom went dark and the wobbling of the walls halted.
"I-I'm a-a monster...".
The doors finally flew open and agents rushed straight out of the room to escape the disaster that once was the Spring Ball. Victor fell to his knees and began to sob as Milla quickly rushed over to comfort him. "It's okay darling, I know you didn't mean it." Milla comforted whilst rubbing Victor's back. Anita stood stunned, conflicted about her current predicament. Who were those voices Victor was talking to? How could he talk to Milla when she wasn't even talking directly to him? Where the hell did Victor get those destructive powers from, and how?
Anita's train of thought was quickly interrupted as she felt a tug on her arm. "We need to go Anita," Alphonse said.
"It's not safe here, especially with that monster." He then grabbed Anita and rushed her and himself to a nearby exit near the stage. Anita took one last glance at Victor before she left, her only thoughts being "Why? Why did you do this Victor?".
"𝘚𝘢𝘴𝘩𝘢, 𝘙𝘢𝘻𝘱𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘯, 𝘐'𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘱𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘸, 𝘸𝘦'𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦.". Milla said. "𝘈𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯, 𝘸𝘦'𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘯. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘝𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘯."
"Victor, we have to leave, it isn't safe here for you..." Milla said in a soft voice. Milla helped Victor stand up and the two ran through a nearby exit.

"Keep pushing! We're almost there!" Fluffer Duffer directed. Fluffer Duffer, Professor Professor and Special Agent Ray were pushing Fluffer Duffer's mantlepiece down the hallway towards the ballroom. "Geez Fluffer Duffer...Why'd you need to bring your mantlepiece? We're just going to a dance..." Ray huffed. "Well, I can't do my signature 'Sizzly Shuffle' without it." Fluffer Duffer replied.
"Well your 'Sizzly Shuffle' better not have cost me from zeeing my slime prank!" Professor Professor said. "Your slime what?!" Fluffer Duffer exclaimed. "Oh heh heh, I meant my slime cake!" Professor Professor nervously replied. Fluffer Duffer rolled his eyes "Honestly as long as you won't burn the ballroom down, I don't even care anymore.".
The trio had finally pushed the mantlepiece into the ballroom. "Is everyone ready to boogi-" Fluffer Duffer paused as he witnessed the destruction of the ballroom. The stage was engulfed in flames, water was gushing from the pipes and flooded the floor. Fluffer Duffer, Professor Professor and Ray stood in awe at the disaster. "W-what happened here?!" Ray exclaimed. "I believe that a certain Volt knows what happened here...".
