Admitting the truth

Klaus' POV

We had got home and the whole way I couldn't stop thinking about what Katherine had done and said, I had realised I was weak and vulnerable loving someone and it put her in danger, I had so many enemies and they would all come for her, I knew what I needed to do, I walked in the kitchen

"You do know vampires don't eat" I say appearing next to her

"Well I do" she says popping out the toast

"Listen we need to talk" I drop my head

"What?" She swings round

"......" I stay silent

"Come on spit it out!" She looks straight at my face

"I think we should spend some time.......apart" I hold my head up

"What!?" She throws the knife on to the side

"Its not you...." I say holding her hand

"Its not you its me, RIGHT!" she screams pulling her hands away from me

"Yes, It really is, your not safe with me...." I put my hands on the counter next to her

"IM NOT SAFE WITH YOU, YOUR THE MOST, POWERFULL MAN ALIVE!" she slaps my face leaving a bright red rash, as i put my head up

"Whats going on in here" Elijah walked in

"Why dont you ask Him" Samantha walks out

Sam's POV

I got a text from Leo, a week ago, one of my cousin, saying he was coming over on the 18th , so that meant tomorrow and I was so exited, but Klaus breaking up with me just brought me down

I drove home and sat on the sofa with a tub of biscuit-flavoured ice cream switching on the TV and watching one of the worst shows in History of TV shows, but I wasn't actually interested in watching TV I just wanted to eat and cry, I jumped when I heard a knock at the door

"Its open!" I moaned

"Hey" Leo popped in waving his hands around in the air

"What- what are you doing I thought you were coming tomorrow?" I whipped my eyes

"I guess the surprised was ruined by something, what's wrong" he sat next to me putting his arm around me

I just broke down in tears, and I never break down, to anyone but this was my gay cousin so he understood

"So it was a guy, who was it?! He will learn not to mess with you ever again!" He stood up

"No, no he will KILL you!" I pulled on his shirt

"Is that code for vampire?" He whispered

"Hybrid actually, wait how do you know?" I look up confused

"Well I know Caroline and well she blabs A LOT" he smiled

"So you know I'm.....?" I hesitate for a moment

"Yeah, I know" he sat next to me

"Hey you wanna go out tonight?" I lift my head up and force out a smile

"Sure" he smiled "I'll pick you up at 19:00?"

"K, then" I smile again, this time more convincing as he picks up his bags and heads over to his hotel

So I know it took me a while to write this and not much happens in it but I promise the next chapter will be better, and TYSM for almost 1.5K :)
