Hope Summers
"Hope!" Someone called my name, I turn and look at as a young girl runs towards me,
"hello Ella are you ready for your lesson?" I ask bending down to her level, she nods excitedly her ride helmet swinging in her hands, "let's go then" I say and grab her hand, we walk over to one of my horses, his name was Homer, he was a fyord, gelding. He was getting up there in years and his even temper and endless patience made him a perfect lesson horse. I had saddled him already so after boosting Ella up the lesson started right away.

It was evening now and I had been giving lessons all day, I was exhausted. I walk down the aisle of the stable patting the horses as I went I stopped in front of my favourite horse, Black. Black which was short for Black Jack, was a 16.2 hands tall Morgan-thoroughbred cross, he was jet black with a small star on his forehead. I had adopted Black when he was three weeks old, his mother had died and all the shelters around were full so I took him in and bottle fed him, and trained him, he is four years old now and full of energy. I am still training him, I was unable able to decide what specific thing I wanted to train him in so I kinda do everything with him, English, Western, he can barrel race, he can jump, but he seems the best at cross country.

I walk into his stall and sit in the corner. "Guess what buddy, Kevin Harvick won this week a Phoenix." I am a massive Nascar fan, so is Black, "Ryan Blaney came second buddy, I know he is your favourite" I don't really have a favourite I just have people I don't like.

Ryan Blaney
"YOU DID WHAT?!?!?" I gasp at Erin, she laughs at me,
"geez chill out Ryan, it's not that big of a deal." She shakes her head in laughter, I frown,
"what do you mean not that big of a deal you bought a horse!" She shrugs,
"so lots of people have horses" I sigh and run my hands threw my hair,
"Erin, most people who buy horses have land for them and don't have to leave every weekend because their boyfriend races." I wave my arm at William Byron who has been sitting here the whole time in silence, "so I will board it at visit it during the week," she shrugs again obviously not understanding how insane this was,
"dude seriously, you don't have a problem with this?" I ask Will he puts his hands on the air,
"leave me out of this I don't really care about it." I roll my eyes, "seriously Erin you don't even know how to ride," I can tell she is starting to loose her cool, "I can learn, I know of a boarding place that offers lessons." She says her eyes telling me just how mad she is,
"how do you know after a week you won't be bored of it how do you know you will want to continue doing this after a while, Erin this is not just a thing to do because you want to, this is going to be expensive and time consuming," I sigh already picturing her bored after a while in dept and stuck with a horse she doesn't want.
"RYAN MICHAEL BLANEY you listen to me," she practically screams at me, my head snaps up and I stare at her she is beyond mad I glance at Will even he seems a little scared, "I never questioned your racing and how expensive it is and how you would get bored instead I was a supportive sister who stood beside you even when you sucked," she pointed at my chest, "so you can at least try to be a supportive brother, I didn't ask you wether you thought it was a good idea I never asked for your opinion, I just wanted you to help me as a good brother to get it to the boarding place with your truck!" She glared hard at me, "so please will you help me?" I sigh as I look at her,
"I'm sorry, yes I will help you." I give her a hug she hugs me back.
"Okay so Tuesday is when we are picking up Annie"
I pause, "who?" I ask, she shakes her head in disappointment,
"the horses name is Annie dumb dumb" she says,
"oh" was all I say as I debate with myself wether this was a good idea.
