Ryan pov:
It was Thursday, I was at home scrolling threw instagram. I hadn't had the best few weeks in the race track. And it was showing on instagram, lots of people asking what was wrong with, why was I sucking, and lots and lots of hate. You always try to avoid hate but there's only so much you can do.

As I was scrolling a person had tweeted,
Ryan blaney sucks so bad, he should go kill himself, make room for someone else.
Yeah that stung, it wasn't the first time someone had told me to kill myself, actually it happened often. Maybe I should kill myself I thought. I immediately freaked out. What was I thinking, I couldn't kill myself I had family. I pulled out the number Hope had given me.

Ryan:
Hi, I'm struggling, I need help.
Ryan.

Hope:
What's wrong?

Ryan:
I had suicidal thoughts, now I'm crying on my couch.

Hope:
Send me your address I'm on my way.

After sending hope my address, I put my phone down and cried into my arms.

A little while later the front door opened and Hope walked in. She rushed over to me and hugged me.
"Oh Ryan, it's gonna be okay eventually." She said rubbing my back.
"Yeah but it's not okay now." I mumble wiping my eyes, "I'm sorry you barely even know me." I said looking at her.
"Something about you makes me feel like I've known you forever." She's said, I nodded
"Yeah same." We sat in comfortable silence for a bit.

"So what's been stressful about you job?" She asked, I sighed.
"Everything, it's the playoffs, next week is the championship race at phoenix. I'm missed the round of four. Chase is in the round off four, so I hope him best. At the last race we always have more interviews and nascar has so many rules we have to follow on and off the track, I guess it all just got to me." I finished as a bunch of thumping came from the stairs, two seconds later sturgill burst into the room. He went straight for me, hoping onto my lap and licking my face. I shove his face away cause that's just gross. He settles for lying across my lap,
"This is sturgill." I said, Hope was smiling she reached out and patted him.
"Cute dog, you guys seem to have a good bond." She said, I nodded,
"I've had him since he was a puppy, I guess it's like you and black, we know each other and what each other wants." She nodded in understanding. She smirked at me suddenly,
"So I've got to ask, your Ryan Blaney you have the choice of like a million girls, and yet your single." I groaned and buried my face into sturgill,
"Yeah but that's the problem, I'm Ryan blaney, they want me for that not who I actually am. Does that make sense?" She nods,
"Yeah I get it, plus must be hard travelling all the time." My heart kinda sank alittle, I guess part of me wanted her to not mind that,
"Although, you've probably seen so much, so it's probably more fun then inconvenient, and you've got that big bus so it can't be that bad." She continued, so maybe she wouldn't mind travelling,
"Yeah I guess, it's probably hard for you to travel, since you have so many horses." I said, she tips her head to the side,
"Yes and no, I hire people to help me at the stable, so technically I'm not needed, but wether or not I trust those people with my precious horses is another matter." She laughed, I smiled a bit. She continued,
"I would like to see my mom soon, but haven't gotten around to it. She lives in phoenix, a ways away from charlotte, although she said she doesn't want me to come unless I'm bringing a guy, but I'm single so she's gonna have to wait." She laughed again, all of a sudden I got an idea.
"Why don't you come with me to phoenix and then visit your mom and then watch the race, you could even bring your mom to the race." I say bolt up right, waking up sturgill in the process, I looked at her excited about something for the first time in like forever.
She smiles and nods,
"You know what sure, I'll come." She said, I grinned and leaned back onto the couch,

Hope pov:
I had agreed to go with Ryan, I decided I wouldn't tell my mom an just show up. So now I was sitting I a plane with Ryan, Chase and Bubba. Who both seemed thrilled that I was there and kept winking at Ryan.
"Wanna know something interesting." I said breaking the silence, all three looked at me and nodded,
"I haven't been on a plane before." They all stare at me in shock, mouths hanging open, Chase who I knew loved planes said,
"What do you mean you haven't been on a plane before what kind of horrible life have you lived!" I laugh,
"I drove everywhere, most of the travelling I've done had been with horses." Ryan was still gaping at me,
"And you only thought to mention this halfway through the flight." He said finally closing his mouth.
"Well, yeah." I said. They shake their heads and laugh.

When we get to the track, me and Ryan head to his bud where we were staying.
"Oh wow this is awesome it's like a normal house." I said in wonder, staring around me at Ryan bus,
"Yeah it's pretty nice." He said throwing his back pack into a closet.
"So you can sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the couch." He said, I was already shaking my head.
"Absolutely not, this is your bus I'm not taking your bed, I'll sleep on the couch." I said firmly, he frowned and shook his head,
"No your sleeping on the bed I'm sleeping on the couch, end of story." He said even more firmly,
"Well welcome to the epilogue, I'm sleeping on the couch and your sleeping on the bed." I fired back. We stood there glaring at each other.

Finally Ryan sighed and looked away,
"Fine you sleep on the couch, I sleep on the bed and then we switch." He said, glaring at me again,
"Fine." I said glaring right back.
