As soon as Hordak/ Horde Prime lost control of Shadow Weaver, he roared in anger and punched his screen again – shattering whatever was left of it to bits. He turned to one of his brothers and yelled:
"Put an end to this mockery! Destroy them all!" His brother immediately teleported away, supposedly to organize the transportation of even more clones to the battlefield.
As Hordak/ Horde Prime composed himself, another of his brothers ran up to him with a tablet.
"My apologies for the interruption, Horde Prime, but we have gained access to the Heart of Etheria." Hordak/ Horde Prime's eyes lit up and he laughed evilly before yelling: "Ah! I can feel it! The Heart is mine!"

As Adora drifted into unconsciousness, she suddenly saw herself in a beautiful room – looking at a waterfall. She was dressed in a lovely white dress and her hair was down.
As Adora took in her surroundings, she heard a door open behind her. She turned to see a short-haired Glimmer chasing Catra into the room with a hairbrush. Catra had her hair up, and was dressed like a member of the rebellion. She looked beautiful. Glimmer laughed:
"Just let me brush it!" Catra shook her head and yelled:
"No!" She ran up to Adora and, once she reached her, she hid behind her to keep away from Glimmer. Catra tugged Adora's arms:
"Don't let her touch me! She's going to torture me!" Glimmer laughed:
"Do you always have to be this dramatic?" She was then interrupted by Bow, who walked in the room dressed in a suit - with a cape that matched Glimmer's. He seemed older, with a goatee and ponytail. He said:
"Come on, guys! If we're late to Scorpia's first ball, she's going to kill us." He then pulled Glimmer towards him, and she leaned her head against his shoulder affectionately.
"Fine!" She then turned back to Catra and continued:
"You're off the hook. This time." Catra responded by sticking her tongue out at Glimmer. Adora stared at them. What was this? Was her mind still playing tricks on her? Was this the beacon punishing her for destroying the Heart of Etheria – giving her a glimpse of a future she could never have?
Adora watched sadly as her friends turned to leave, and Catra followed them. She was convinced this was it – that this was the end of the dream. But then Catra turned around and reached her hand out to her:
"You coming?" Adora could not help but smile and reach out for her too. There was absolutely no doubt in her mind that she had been in love with Catra this whole time. Why could she not have realized that sooner? Her thoughts were then interrupted by Catra transforming into Horde Prime, and the room around her fading to black. He looked down at her and said:
"A beautiful wish, but there will be no future. Not for you." Adora then felt herself restrained and could once again feel the pain of the failsafe reacting to the Heart. She screamed. When would this nightmare be over?
As Adora felt tears leaving her eyes, a bright light suddenly shone in her face. She looked up and gasped as she saw Catra once again reaching her hand out to her. This time, however, she was in her Force Commander uniform and had short hair. She yelled:
"Adora! Please! You have to wake up!"

As soon as Catra had defeated Shadow Weaver, she ran down the corridor like her life depended on it. Well, technically, it did. She could not live without Adora, and, from what Horde Prime had said, she was already dead. It was not long before she saw the shining light of the Heart of Etheria in the distance. She screamed:
