NEW YORK, THE NEXT MORNING (IRL)
"Tommy." Newt whispered, gently running his fingers through Thomas's hair to wake him up. Thomas grumbled, adjusting his position on top of Newt, before burying his face back into the crook of his boyfriends neck.
The couple was having a lazy morning after the chaotic events of last night. The group stayed up late drinking and partying, they had immediately started his first day back by celebrating his return.
His night consisted of Teresa and Minho harassing one another, Thomas telling about his new (and old) adventures in Beacon Hills, lots of cuddles from Newt, and multiple noise complaints from the neighbors.
"Thomas, come on. We have plans." Newt exasperated, trying to remove himself from underneath Thomas's tight hold.
Mumbling something inaudible, he rolled off of Newt and buried his face into the nearest pillow.
Moments after Newt had gotten out of bed, Thomas tiredly followed. He made his way into the kitchen in hopes of finding something simple and easy to make for breakfast.
Thomas suddenly came to a stop when he noticed some of the Gladers sprawled around the living room asleep. Teresa's dark hair could be seen messily hanging off the arm of the couch, which she had presumably taken all to herself. Brenda, who had joined that party later then expected was asleep on the ground along with Gally, using his stomach as a pillow. Minho was most likely in his bedroom.
When everyone was rescued, Thomas was unfortunately sent back "home" and was forced back into the routine of his old life, slowly regaining his old memories back.
The others all spread throughout New York. Jorge became Brenda's official guardian, Newt and Minho rented a apartment together, while Alby, Gally, and Teresa, lived in a nearby complex.
Chuck reunited with his family in North Carolina, while Aris currently resides in New Jersey with his family.
"Should we wake them up?" His favorite British-accent whispered.
Thomas turned around to see Newt making his way into the kitchen, blonde hair ruffled from sleep.
A devious smirk made its way onto the brunettes face, eyeing the pots and pans set out on the counter.
"Thomas-"
"Oh come on! We're doing it!" Thomas whined.
Newt rolled his eyes, "This is all you, if you get an angry Teresa and Minho teaming up on you, I'm not helping." He shrugged, warning him as he walked over to the fridge to look for some food.
Thomas thought it over for a moment before hurriedly grabbing two pans.
"Up! Everybody up!" He shouted as he began to repeatedly slam the two pans together, walking out from the kitchen and into the living room.
"THOMAS!"
authors note This chapter is very much giving "Y'all never gonna sleep cause of me" vine.
Also if you can't tell, I love the dynamic I have created between Minho and Teresa.
