"Good, you're here." The sheriff sighed. "I need your help."

"Where am I?" I heard an older lady cry. "Where is my husband? Aren't you listening?!" It was heartbreaking and her energy fed off of mine, keeping her here.

"What's wrong?" Emma asked me, seeing that I was looking through her so she looked behind her.

"It's nothing." I shrugged off. "What do you need me to do?"

"I need you to use your power to find Dr. Whale." She explained, "There is something fishy going on and I know it."

"okay." I sighed, not wanting to explain myself to everyone. Emma then started to drag me to his office but slowed down before we came to it.

"What did you see?" She asked me.

"What do you mean?"

"You were watching something. What was it?" She asked, clarifying herself.

"There was a woman, an older woman, crying. She didn't know where she was or that she was dead." A tear fell from my face. "Another reason why I hate hospitals. So many dead people are hanging off my energy."

"Why don't you help her?"

"Because I wouldn't be able to and I would get too attached. It's just the way of things." I explained, "I've tried to help spirits before but it usually ends up badly." I sighed, looking down at my feet then back up at her. "Come on, we have a doctor to find but I don't know why you brought me to his office."

"So I could talk to you, obviously." She said as if I was stupid.

CW: Mentions of suicide

Finding Dr. Whale wasn't hard at all. He ended up being at the docks. He sees me and looks at me. "Don't come near me." he demanded as he tipped toed towards the edge with a bottle in his hands.

"Whale, it's not worth it." I told him. "Suicide may seem like the awnser but it's not."

"Then what is?"

"Step back and we can figure that out together. What I do know for a fact is that if you do this you will go to the Underworld because you'll have unfinished business and it will be worse." I explained. "At the hospital, there is a reason I don't like going in there, there are so many spirits that are confused and some don't even realize that they're dead but after time, they'll fade away and go crazy doing it. They never have answers and don't know why everyone is ignoring them." I saw his face drop and a tear fall down his face.

"If that happens..." He sighed, "So be it." Then he jumped. I was quick enough to grab his hand pulling him up from the dock. "Why won't you let me die?!"

"Because you are not thinking this through!" I told him.

"Trust me! I have." He hissed.

"Why? Why suicide?" I asked.
