Soon after that, I left and went to Gold's shop. I knew he wanted to see me and I couldn't think of a single reason why he would want to. When I opened the door the bell rang that was hanging above the door, letting him know that someone was here and then he emerged from the back. "Good, you're here." Gold began, "Come to the back, Belle just made a fresh pot of tea."

With that I followed him to the back, and sat on the cot. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" He handed me a cup of tea.

"I found a way to leave Storybrooke." He admitted to me.

Now..............

"You found a way to do what?" I said, choking on my tea.

"A way to leave Storybrooke so I can find my son." He told me.

"Okay but I know for a fact that Baelfire wants nothing to do with you." I informed him.

"I have to try, Bex." He sighed, "He's my son."

"And Peter isn't?" I shot back.

"I know... but Peter isn't on this land and I have a chance to try and mend fences with my son. I have to try." He explained.

"So how does it work?" I finally asked.

"When I pour this potion onto the object I hold most dear, that object becomes a talisman, it allows me to cross the town line and still remember who I am." He explained.

"I'm assuming the shaw." I guessed and he nodded. I scratched my head, sighing, "I should probably warn you that Killian Jones is in town."

"How did he get here?" He immediately asked me.

"I'm assuming, using a magic bean but his ship is cloaked at the dock." I explained.

"Thank you for that information."

"Now don't do anything stupid." I warned him. I got up, setting my tea cup on the table, "Tell Belle that I said 'Thank you for the tea'." I left as soon as I said that.

I went back to the police station, nobody was there besides Cora. "What do you want?" Cora hissed at me.

"I just came to talk to you." I shrugged.

"What couldn't you have said when you were here earlier?" She questioned me.

"I just thought you needed to know who I really am." I admitted, sitting on the arm of the couch that was next to the cell.

"I know who you are, Melinoe." She rolled her eyes at me.

"No, you don't. All you know is my name and my adopted bitch of a mother." I informed her.

"Oh yeah, and who is that, dear?" She questioned with a roll of her eyes.
