"I don't think it's a matter of me liking him but the fact he loves you." He said, making a good point. "I know with everything going on with your uncle, it may be hard to hold on to attachments but you need all the friends you can get to help support you."
"You know, sometimes I wonder what would have happened if you didn't turn me in." I told him, "Maybe I would have been a worse ruler than Zeus but no matter what would have happened I'm happy everything happened the way it did. It may not have been pretty but I'm happy in Storybrooke. Everyone I know there cares about my wellbeing and not the fact I'm a goddess."
"We care about your wellbeing too, Mel. Even your sister." He told me. "Even Thanatos."
"I know." I sighed.
Now..............
Morning.........
I walked into the kitchen and poured myself a cup of coffee. "Good morning, sweetie." My mother smiled at me.
"Good morning, momma." I smiled back at her.
"How'd the talk with your father go last night?" She asked me.
"It went well. He approved of Peter." I smiled into my cup of coffee before taking a drink of it.
"Good!" She nodded. "So when's the wedding?"
"Mom... we aren't even engaged yet." I told her and she looked at me surprised. "Peter and I have been through a lot. I mean, he did propose but before I could answer I was whisked away by a portal of dad's creation."
"God damn it, Hades." She cursed, "What shitty fucking timing."
"My thoughts exactly." I chuckled.
"Would you want him to propose again?" She questioned me.
"Of course I would. I love him more than anything in this world." I informed her.
"This is what I always wanted for my children." She smiled at me, "To be able to find true love like that."
"I know Mac did." I nodded, looking at her.
"And so did you." She sighed, "Your sister is coming home today and I was hoping you would stay long enough to talk to her."
"When will she be here?" I sighed.
"I'm already here." Macaria said, coming into the kitchen, her husband, Thanatos, following her.
"Mac." I nodded, acknowledging she was there.
"Mel. Good to see you again you traitorous, bitch." My sister insulted me.
"Macaria!" Our mother looked at her with a pointed stare.
"Sorry mom." She sighed.
"Before anything happens today, I expect you two to talk and work your bullshit out." She looked at both of us as she said that. "Come on Thanatos, let's leave them alone." The two of them left the room, leaving me and my sister alone.
