Chapter 1

Mikey's P.O.V
Hi my names Mikey, I'm 20 and I'm in a band with my 3 best mates. Charlie your average 17 year old, Betsy-Blue (but we call her bb) a beautiful 19 year old and lastly Parisa an absolutely gorgeous 21 year old (who is my secret crush but no one can find out). So yeah that's my life, oh and my band is called Only The Young and this year we are planning to go on The X Factor! Right now we are just rehearsing an Elton John classic Something About The Way You Look Tonight. When it comes to Parisa's part I can't help but just stare at her, she's so beautiful and her voice just sends shivers down my spine! I just think she's gorgeous in every single way. I'm soon snapped out of my thoughts when Charlie stops playing his guitar and bb tells me "Mikey you forgot to come in again! What's the matter with you right now? You seem very out of it!" "I'm fine bb honestly I just was thinking about something but it doesn't matter now! I promise I will come in next time!" "Fine from the top!" This time I tried not to focus too much on Parisa and her singing but I just I couldn't! Snap out of it Mikey you need to get yourself together! This time I actually managed to come in at the right time but she just had this affect on my that I couldn't describe! But I loved it and it made me like her all the more!

Parisa's P.O.V
Mikey seems really out of it today! I don't know what's up with him but it's really weird just seeing him act this way! I mean he is very cute when he acts awkward! What are you saying Parisa you can't like him, he's your best friend! But he just so damn cute! I really like him, I could just never tell him how I really feel as it would tear the band apart and I can't have that on my shoulders!
After we finish rehearsing we all go to our rooms. Mikey isn't making eye contact with me or even talking to me! Something's up but it is just making me like him a hell of a lot more than what I should!!
