Percy Jackson: What if Luke never became evil? Parte 2

Well hi, it's me the narrator, I was able to stop my dogs from destroying the stove (don't ask how) but now I'm back and it's time to tell this story. SPOILER ALERT, read the Percy Jackson books first to understand more

Another part of why Luke became evil was because of Herme's absence from his life, Olympian gods and goddesses are never around for their children when they grow up, which as you know may have a great negative impact on children, feeling like it's their fault their parent or parents left them. Today we'll see the faithful day where it would've pushed him father to the dark side.

Luke was about 14 when came home from school, holding a long stick as if it was a weapon, Luke would usually expect to see his mother sitting on a couch, getting ready to hug Luke once he was back home and ask how his day went, knowing that it would of course be horrible with all the monsters hunting him every day, but he didn't mind, she was obviously worried for his safety. But today was different, instead of his mom, it was Hermes, God of leaving families.

Luke: "W-What are you doing!?" said Luke angrily

Hermes:" I wanted to stop by and see you guys, I haven't seen you and your mother since you were a baby, I'm so happy to see you again"

Luke:"It's not like you actually care, you left me and mom when I was just a baby, A BABY!! Do you know how much times I've thought it was my fault?! Do you!?"

Hermes:" I know that whatever I do now will never fix what I did to you and my other children, I'm so sorry Luke.."

Luke:"Wait... OTHER CHILDREN!?? You mean to tell me that you cheated on many women, including my mom, and left them with your children!? What type of father are you!!?

Hermes: "I know...., I know...., I loved your mother more, and I love you so much, just as I love all my children, but I could never stay, Zeus never lets us stay, it's my fault I keep leaving the women and children I love, but I have to leave, I can never stay in one place, I always have to return to Olympus."

Luke:" I still can't forgive you, for all those years you missed, but can't you just stay for awhile or at least give away immortality?"

Hermes:"Sadly it's not that simple, but I was wondering if you wanted to spend a little time together."

Luke:"Wait, really?"

Hermes:"Absolutely, you see your grandpa Zeus sent me to find one of his children and get them to safety."

Luke:"So you left them out there to come here?"

Hermes:"Not at all, I was able to find them right before a monster attacked, but right after slaying the monster, I saw I was near home, I couldn't help but think of you and your mother so I came here with the children. it was a hard reunion but we were able to talk again, right now your mother is cooking but earlier we were helping the children heal."

Luke:"Well that's good to hear, for once you didn't leave any children behind."

Hermes let out a small chuckle before continuing, it seems that the tension has depleted, for awhile.

Hermes:"Me and your mother started talking about this safe place, I wanted to know if she wanted you to go there, but I also needed your thought."

Luke: "Wait, what? What are you even talking about?"

Hermes:"The place is called Camp Half-Blood, the people there will protect you and help you train for danger, you don't have to stay there you can always come back, but we think you'll be better safe there then here where the monsters can smell you."

Luke(mind):"So that's how they find me."

Hermes:"It was a hard decision, but we decided that you should chose."

Just then, Luke's mother May Castellan walked into the room from the kitchen with two girls coming in with her, one looked about the same age as Luke while the other looked younger

May Castellan: Oh Luke! How was your day sweetie?Did you like the snack I packed you?.

The younger girl perked up and shouted "I did!", May couldn't help but chuckle and respond "I'm glad you did!", Luke couldn't help but smile.

May Castellan:"Girls, this is my son Luke, he will help you with anything you need until you leave. Why don't you guys introduce yourselves?"

Luke did not want to help at all, he just came from battling a monster and talking with Hermes, but the oldest girl already seemed to be talking, she had punk clothes with a ring on her finger.

???1: "Hello, I'm Thalia Grace and this is Annabeth Chase, I'm the daughter of Zeus."

And this is where we end the chapter, sorry guys but I'm hungry and I haven't slept because of the chaos the dogs caused, see you until another day.
