Taehyung, Jimin, Namjoon, and Jungkook had stayed up all night together.

Grammy nominations were a big deal to them and they stayed up eating snacks and chatting as they waited for the categories that they'd submitted to be announced.

Taehyung didn't mean to stick so close to Jungkook that night. Adrenaline was rushing and Jungkook looked so comfortable and cuddly— and very adorable. His eyes would widen every time possible categories would be announced and he was huddled up to himself, knees in his hands every time.

Cute. He was cute.

He was even cuter the second that the name BTS came onto the nomination screen— he jumped up and screamed with excitement, so happy to be nominated. Taehyung was more surprised than anything, plus he was so drawn into Jungkook's smile that he didn't know how to act.

He especially didn't know how to act as Jungkook sat back on the couch and curled up again, this time pushing his legs towards Taehyung.

"I can't believe this," the maknae muttered to himself, still in shock.

It was odd, the way Taehyung was just as happy to have Jungkook curled up against him as he was to have gotten nominated for a Grammy award. After the shock and excitement settled for a while, after they called their parents, after everything was settled, the four decided it was time to finally get some sleep.

The three hugged their leader because of such a milestone, but after Taehyung released his hug, Jungkook stepped up to him and without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around Taehyung. It was gentle and for a moment, neither of them let go of each other. Taehyung could practically feel Jimin's eyes in the back of his head, so he let go of Jungkook.

"I'm going to sleep now," Taehyung murmured to them.

"Now?" Jungkook asked, his voice nearly too quiet, like he didn't want the others to hear him at all. "Hyung, can I sleep in your bed tonight? I don't want to wake up Jin hyung or Hobi hyung." Right. Jungkook likes to sleep with people, likes to cuddle up to them just because he can and because he likes it.

But... Taehyung?

Shit.

The way Jungkook acted like nothing was wrong with his question completely baffled Taehyung. Maybe Taehyung really was the only one who thought too much about things between them— there is nothing between them.

"Yeah. Yeah, you can come if you want to."

Taehyung ignored Jimin's continuous glances at them as he gathered all of his things to head to his room. Like a sheep, Jungkook followed behind Taehyung right down the hall and into his room. Soon after entering, Jungkook wrapped his arms around Taehyung's shoulders.

"Can you believe we're nominated for a Grammy?" he asked as they waddled over to the bed. Taehyung patted his hands to get the younger's hands off of him— just for his own sanity. Jungkook let go, but he still had a little smile on his face.

"Feels unreal," Taehyung let out as he pulled his blankets back. He plugged his phone onto his charger and threw it onto his bedside table. Jungkook was the first to jump onto his bed and quickly get under the blanket.

There was a problem with this for Taehyung. He knew how Jungkook cuddles everyone. It had been years and years, though, since they have. That's the problem; Jungkook's original and first cuddle-buddy was Taehyung. Cuddling was the start of it all. Cuddling always led to giggly pecks, which led to whatever the hell it was that they had going on back then. But this was present time.

Taehyung slowly got under the blanket as well, but unlike usual, Jungkook wasn't so quick to roll over and plant his face into his arm or throw his arms around him like he does with everyone else. Instead, they both stared up at the ceiling that was lit by Taehyung's lamp. Slowly, the older member reached for his lamp and turned it onto the lowest setting, just hardly enough so that they could see outlines of the room's decorations.

Neither of them said a word, so it was too quiet in the room. Taehyung could hear his heart pounding quickly in his chest like a beat to a song, over and over again. He wasn't dumb, he knew that Jungkook wanted to sleep in his bed because he wanted cuddles, so why wasn't Jungkook making a move to initiate the cuddling? Taehyung sure as hell couldn't— well he could've before, and he did before even during In The Soop, but that was in front of cameras and it wasn't as intimate as cuddling at night in his own bedroom all alone.

Jungkook shuffled on the bed. The soft sound of blankets moving and the feeling of the bed dipping low gave that away.

"Hyung?"

Taehyung flipped onto his side to see Jungkook, holding his breath once he realized that Jungkook had moved closer and they were now face to face. "Yes?" he quietly asked. Again, Jungkook shuffled forward. He laid his head on Taehyung's pillow then, their eyes meeting because it was all they could see now.

"Don't you want to cuddle? You usually do when someone's next to you like this."

True. Jungkook may love to crash in other members' rooms to cuddle, but Taehyung was the exact same way; they just never ended up in each other's rooms. Maybe it was because they'd lost their cuddle buddy after they broke up— or after they ended things back then— and they craved what they lost, so they crashed and cuddled everyone else instead.

But Jungkook was here now.

"Just say you wanna cuddle," Taehyung let out, smiling as Jungkook smiled back at him.

"Fine." The younger scooted forward even more if possible and he lifted his arm over Taehyung's waist and pulled him forward as well.

It wasn't like they used to cuddle. Usually, from what Taehyung has seen and had for himself, Jungkook most of the time simply lets the others cuddle him or he wraps an arm or leg around them. Right now, however, he had ahold of Taehyung's waist and slowly pushed his leg between Taehyung's snuggling a bit closer than Taehyung ever figured he would.

He was warm and soft, but Taehyung was on fire and probably a little too stiff because there was no way he could relax with Jungkook's face so close, with his fingers dug into his waist, with Jungkook's legs intertwined with his.

"Goodnight," the maknae let out in the softest, lowest voice. He sounded so comforting yet... sexy. His low voice in Taehyung's ear...

Damn.

"Goodnight, Jungkookie."

There was no way that Taehyung was going to be getting much sleep tonight because if he didn't stay awake and take this in now, he was afraid he'd never get the chance to ever again— he was afraid it would be ripped away just like it had been years ago. So, he wrapped his arms around Jungkook as well and held on tight, observing the maknaes pretty eyes and lips. He wanted to burn that image in his head till the day he died.

Goodnight, Jungkookie.
