Mei grabbed your wrist and stomped down the bleachers "it's none of you business!' Mei turned into her red panda form and walked towards Tyler "one more step and I'm telling her everything!" He pulled out his phone "now put that thing away and hear me out!" Mei groaned but obliged. "What do you want" the growl through her teeth.
Tyler put his phone into his jacket pocket and pulled out a flyer " I wanna throw a sick birthday party. An epic one" you took the flyer from his hands. Mei look over you shoulder to see it. Then looked at the friends. They all shrugged "it's this Friday if you two are there. Everyone will come simple as that." He stated "a party?" Mei asked looking confused.
Tyler sighed "look iv done you a favor keeping my mouth shut, all I'm asking for is one back" he said.
Mei thought for a second "I'll do it, but it'll cost you 2 no 400 dollars." Mei said holding up 4 fingers "okay" he agreed "I like this kid." You say.
"hey, ill stay later if you give me an extra 50" you whisper into the boys ear " yeah, sure" tyler whispered back
Meis tail popped out "uhh, hold please" she ran back up to the bleachers. You sighed following her up.
"Are you serious? You can't trust him Miriam whispered "it's a trap" Abby said
"But it's a boy-girl party. Are you allowed to boy-girl parties?" Priya asked looking at you and mei. " I don't give a damn what mom says. I'm a outcast to her all ready" you shrugged "guys 400 bucks will put us over the top, we have to do this. We'll meet a Tylers and do our thing then we'll bounce, easy peasy "mei explained.
"Dude what about your mom?" Miriam asked " forget our mom. I'll be back before she even knows I'm gone" I crouched under the bleachers "Hey dork-face, we're in" mei agreed "but you only get the panda for an hour, and we're not bringing any presents" mei said "deal" Tyler and mei shook hands.
At home
You and mei were walking out of your rooms "okay I'm heading out yo mathematics" mei said "and I'm going to the gym to practice for shot put" you say walking to the door "see you later" "wait what about dinner? I made all your favorites" she told mei you scoff and she only put stuff mei liked "Nah I'll eat on the way, peace" you hold up a peace sign.
"Thanks buy miraums dad is um. Ordering pizza" she lied and walk to the door alongside you "save me leftovers" mei waves "what if I come with you?" Your mom recommended ' thanks for asking me you thought. "Whaa?" Meis eyes widen as she turned her head to her mom "what are you doing? Linear equations? Geometry? I have a double jointed elbow. Look" she starts spinning her elbow "gross" You gag "making the perfect circle." "Wow, but it'll be super boring . Wouldn't you rather hang with dad....." mei gestured to her father who was eating at the table.
"Let's get my flashcards," Ming said as she pushed mei to the door "but-" "I was math champion. They called me the uncommon denominator" she deepened her voice as she said that.
Mei tried to convince her mom not to go but she didn't listen "I'll met you there" you whispered to your sister. You were about to reach for the temple door when you heard commotion outside. Walking and people talking.
Your eyes widen "fuck" you curse knowing who was coming. Running from the door you get behind mei as she backed up as well.
The door burst open revealing your aunts "uuughhh" you groan. You didn't like your aunts since they smothered you so much and it got annoying.
"Meimei!" They all start to cherishing your sister. "Hello aunties. Why are you here" mei greeted.
"Oh and look at little n/n" they rush over to you and started pinching your cheeks "have you lost weight? You look skinnier?" "No looks like she gained" one of your aunts says "look at the acne" another one takes you face into her hands and starts running a finger along you cheek were you acne was.
