Morning came too soon for my liking. I sat up in my bed and groaned.

"Another day in paradise." I grumbled to myself sarcastically. I rubbed the sleep away from my eyes and drool from my chin. I hear my phone buzz. I pick it up and see a message from Simeon.

'New Repo turned up today. Be here by 11:00, and bring Franklin– Simeon'

I checked the clock to see that it's 10:24. I cursed to myself and made my to into the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Same view just a different day. (E/C) eyes that had sunken in, bags under them and the same pale skin. I had a quick wash, took my medication and got into one of my leather attires.

I left the house and sighed in content when I felt the fresh breeze. The streets were surprisingly peaceful and quiet today. I felt a grin make its way to my face. Maybe today won't be so bad after all.

I strolled towards next door and knocked on the door with my knuckles. I could faintly hear the sound of Denise shouting.

"Dammit boy answer the goddamn door!"

I rolled my eyes at her attitude. Somethings never really do change. Before anymore was said the door opened revealing the familiar face of my best friend who looked glum.

"I take it you weren't expecting me." I smirk at him. I notice his expression quickly soften and his eyes lit up slightly and his mouth turned upwards.

"Nah, girl. Good to see ya." We did our normal bro fist.

"Come on, we've got a repo." I tell him.

"Alright'." He quickly closed the door before walking towards his car. I got into the passenger seat and put my seatbelt whilst Franklin started the engine up. I suddenly heard a familiar song from Dr Dre new album blare through the radio which made me gasp softly.

"Turn this up." I tell him excitedly.

He starts to chuckle in amusement. "Alright girl, for sure." He tuned the volume up even more and I started to bang my head towards the beat, whilst Franklin shook his head at my giddiness.
