I knew something was wrong the second Percy sat down. Leo followed shortly afterwords and they both looked frazzled. Leo's eye was swollen but passed it off as running into a pole. He took a swig of nectar the bruise vanished.

The rest of the dinner passed smoothly enough, I witness Nico and Will exchange a quick kiss before Will left and being pregnant with a weak bladder I nearly peed myself.

Nico turned around as I tried to act casual. "You saw nothing."

I squealed. "Our baby is growing up!" I hugged him.

"Ouch, okay, careful, I don't want you to crush your unborn child against me," he acted embarrassed but I could sense all the love around him.

After that, I went to go find Jason because I wanted to go home. I walked near the bathrooms thinking he might be there but accidentally overheard Percy and Annabeth talking.

"He crossed a line, Annabeth!"

"I don't care, Perc! He is getting married soon and you didn't make things physical. That is crossing a line."

I froze.

"You don't get how awful I felt when I got you pregnant for the first time, Annabeth."

I went cold. The first time?

"Perc, it doesn't matter, okay? Do you regret our daughter? Our family of four now?"

He didn't say anything so I suspected he nodded.

"The past doesn't matter. Now is the only thing that matters. Let's get out of here, okay? I don't feel well."

I pressed myself against the wall as they walked by, their arms around each other. When I thought I'd gotten away with it, Annabeth turned around and quickly gave me the 'I'm watching you' sign. I smiled meekly but she wasn't looking.

Jason found me back up at the pavilion and asked me, "Ready to go?"

I nodded and took his hand.

When we got home, the boy was in bed as promised and our babysitter was passed out on the couch, her summer reading sprawled out around her. Jason woke her and helped her be on her way while I checked on Ethan. He was sound asleep and before I left his room I kissed his forehead.

Tomorrow is supposed to be the day we find out the gender of our baby. Even though I'm already six months along and you're able to see the gender at five months, we were too busy and kept having to reschedule. I was ecstatic. Jason was hoping for a girl this time and I was, too, but I suspect a boy because my lower back hurts and women carry boys with their backs.

I changed and crawled into bed and was out as soon as Jason joined me.

Ethan was hoping for a brother and bet his dad an ice cream cone that it was a boy. He got to come with us, though he still doesn't understand how the baby got inside me.

In the waiting room he got restless and started talking to strangers and Jason had to pull him away a lot. He asked one lady if a baby was inside her, too when I don't even think she was prego.

"Piper Grace?" I still skip a heartbeat when someone says my married name. I stood up and took my two wonderful boys' hands and joined the nurse through the big double doors.

Ethan was full of questions. Constantly asking the nurse what this was and how does that work and how the baby got inside me. She was kind and patient.

She put the blue gel on my abdomen and the machine whirred to life. Jason sat in a chair next to me, holding my hand while Ethan was on his lap.

The nurse put the wand on my abdomen and searched around until our baby came up on the screen. She grinned. "There's your baby! Here's the head, feet, belly, and fingers!" She pointed at everything for Ethan who looked flabbergasted. "Would you like to know the sex?"

Jason and I nodded, we squeezed our hands tighter together.

"It's a boy!"

Ethan jumped up in victory and tears streamed down my cheeks. Jason kissed my forehead.

When we got the image, I cried again and immediately took a picture and sent it to my friends and my dad, with the caption "Another boy!!"

Man, I loved life.
