Chapter 3

"Rudy" the woman yelled out into the open
"Rudy come on! Its too hot to make me come looking for you"

She bend down picking up a dog toy. When she turns around she jumps in surprise to see Nik and me.

"I am so sorry. I didn't mean to scare you" Nik said in a American accent which was horrible if you ask me

"Can I help you?" She asked looking between the both of us

"Yeah sorry, our car ran out of gas a couple of miles back. We have been walking forever trying to find someone. We were just hoping to use your phone" I say for Nik

"Don't you have a phone?" She asked us

"His died and mine is broken, my fiance here forgot the charger" I said

She looked at my hand to see a pretty ring on my ring finger

"Sure" she sighed

"Soooo, can we come in?" Nik asked

"No I will get the phone and bring it out to you" she replied

Nik sighed "I thought you country folks were supposed to be more trusting"

"I'm from Florida" she sassed him

"well that explains it" he says dropping the accent

"Now show me a little Southside hospitality" he compelled her

I walk away as he drags her to the house and up the stairs.

Walking to the car when I hear a bark. I turn around to see a Golden retriever puppy looking at me with its head tilted. I walked over to him and picked him up.

"Awww you so freaking cute." The dog starts to bark while he licked my face.
"Shhhhh, you need to be quiet." I say to the dog while giggling

I walk to the passenger seat and sat down trying to hide the dog under the blanket leaving enough room for the dog to breath. Nik and Stefan get in the car and Nik starts to drive.

Around 8 minutes into the drive Rudy decided he didn't wanna stay quiet. Rudy jumps from the blanked at started barking at Stefan. Nik swerved the car not expecting that and stop the car. He turned and glared at me.

I smiled innocently at him

"No" My smile falls. "Please Nik pleaseeeeeeeee" I put on the best puppy dog eyes I can adding a small pout to it.

"Absolutely not" He glares at the dog. "Nik please. Just look at him" I say shoving the dog into his face

"Fine just get it out of my face, and if it gets anything on my seats I will kill it"

I gasp in horror "You better not" I glare at him.

He just smirked at me before continuing to drive.

5 minutes later Rudy who now is named Winnie started barking non-stop at Stefan.
"If you don't shut that bloody thing up I swear I will let Stefan eat him." Nik said glaring at the dog.

"Its not my fault he doesn't like the bunny muncher" I replied. I look behind me to see Stefan glaring at me.

I smile widely back trying not to laugh. "I will eat it" Stefan mouthed to me. I gasped and hid the dog away from them.

Winnie finally does stop barking and he falls asleep in my lap. I reclined my chair and soon let sleep take over my body.

Soon we arrive at a bar. The plan was for me to distract Ray so Stefan and Nik can compel the other people in the bar. I walk into the bar sitting next to a man with light brown hair and a beard. "he turns to me before introducing himself
