Chapter 10

"Mrs. Driscoll kept saying how she needs to go back. Why don't we let her?" Will said. We turn to look at him. I nod my head at what he said. "Yeah... that's a good plan. We let her go. She'll lead us straight to the source. Then we can put an end to this mess" I said. Everyone nods their heads in agreement with the plan.

Y/N P.O.V

We're now at the hospital. "Are you sure we can all go? That nurse doesn't look so friendly, if you ask me" I said. Nancy turns to me and smiles softly. "It'll be fine, Y/N... just act normal" she said. I let out a sigh and nod my head.

"What are you all doing?" A voice said. We turn our heads to see the nurse. "Um hi. I'm here to visit my grandma again. And these are my family" she said. I look at her in confusion. She sneaks in, acting as if she's Mrs. Driscoll's granddaughter. 

The nurse scans all of us, until her eyes lingers on Lucas. "Uh... extended" he said, with a weird smile on his face. I look down to hide my face, trying to hold in my laughter. What kind of excuse is that??

"I don't care. You know the rules. 2 at a time" she said. "But..." Nancy said. "2. At. A. Time!" She said. Nancy lets out a sigh. Jonathan turns to look at us. "We'll go... the rest of you will have to stay here" he said.

"Will you be okay? I mean... what if the other flayed come?" I said, whispering the last sentence so no one else can hear. He smiles and gently pat my head. He ruffles my hair gently.

"We'll be fine, Y/N" he said. I just nod my head. "Be careful..." I said. He smiles and gives me a quick hug. Nancy doing the same. They turn around and head up.

Will wraps an arm around my shoulder. I lean my head on his. "We should wait at the waiting area" I said. The others nods their heads. We turn around and make our way there.

I take a seat on the chair. Will takes a seat next to me. I scoot closer to him and leans my head against his. He place his head on top of mine. I turn my head to see Mike and Lucas trying to get some food from the vending machine.

The food gets stuck. "Oh come on!!" Mike said, as he starts hitting the machine. I was about to help. When Will covers my eyes. I remove his hand from my eyes and turns to look at him.

"What's that for?" I said. "You're not using any of your powers with your current health, Y/N..." he said, sternly. I turn to look at Mike. Will covers my eyes again. "I'm not going to" I said, removing his hand. The food flies out of the shelves.

"Y/N!" Will said. "What?? It wasn't me" I said. I turn to see Eve, wiping her blood from her nose. "Must be Eve..." I said. He just nods his head and gently pat his shoulder again. I roll my eyes and place my head there nonetheless.

Mike walks over to me and hands some snacks. "You need to recharge. You haven't eaten anything after what happened at the pool..." he said. "Thank you, Mike..." I said. He smiles and nods his head. I open the wrapper and take a bite of the chocolate bar. I turn to look at Will.

"Here... eat some too..." I said, placing it close to his lips. He shakes his head, trying to push my hand back. "No. You eat it... you need more energy than I am" he said, holding my hand.

"You need it too! Come on!" I said. "Fine..." he said. He didn't take a real bite. He only take a nibble. "Will!! That was the smallest bite I've ever seen!" I said. He lets out a chuckle and holds me close. "I'll be fine... you eat it. I'm not that hungry..." he said. I hear his stomach growl as soon as he said that. I let out a chuckle.

"Suuurreee. Just eat some! Please?" I said. "No..." he said, shaking his head. "Either you eat some... or I'll throw this away" I threatened. He let out a sigh and opens his mouth. This time I made sure he take a proper bite.

"Happy?" He said, while munching. "Don't talk while munching" I said, in scolding manner. "Okay, mom" he said, rolling his eyes. I offer another bite but he refuses. I let out a huffed and turn to look at Mike and Eve. Seems like they finally get along. I smile at the two of them.

I turn to look at Will as he stands up. He walks a couple of steps forward. He place a hand on the back of his neck. I stand up and slip my hand in his.

"What is it?" I asked. He turns to look at me, looking at me with a look of feared on his face. "He's here..." he said. My eyes widened at what he said. "Eve... we need to go! Nancy and Jonathan might be in danger" I said.

"Y/N..." Will said. I turn to look at him. "I'll be fine, Will. We have to help them..." I said, placing a hand on his cheek. He looks at me with a worried gaze. "I have to help them. Your brother and my cousin. You saw what happened with Billy. It's going to be hard for Eve to fight alone. What if there's more than just one?" I said. He reluctantly nods his head. We turn around and run towards the lift. But it didn't work.

"We have to use the stairs. Come on!" I said. They nod their heads and turns around. They start to run. I was about to run after them, when a hand gently grabs mine. I turn my head to see Will.

"Are you sure you're fit enough for this?" Will said. His eyes turns teary. I lift my hands and cups his cheeks. I wipe the tears away that manage to slip from his eyes and down his cheeks.

"Will. Stop worrying about me..." I said. "I'll always worry when it comes to you. You're my girlfriend and I love you more than anything, Y/N..." he said, leaning his forehead against mine. I smile and give his lips a soft peck. "I'll be fine... okay?" I said. He nods his head, giving me a sad smile. I gently grab his hand. I pull him along and we run upstairs.

I close my eyes and focus on my sight. My eyes focus through the building. I can make out shapes. "This way, guys. Come on!" I said. I lead them to a locked room.

"How do you know it's this one?" Mike said. I turn to look at him. "I can see through solid surfaces" I said. Eve burst through the door. I can see a creature on top of Nancy.

"Nancy!" I yelled out. I use air and push the thing from her. It turns to us and roars loudly. I breathe heavily, but now's not the time to faint. I have to be strong.

Eve lift the creature using her telekinesis. I use air and push it out of the building. Will rushes to my side and holds me, because he knows I might fall.

"Are you okay?" He asked. "I'm fine, Will..." I said, nodding. He scoops me up in his arms. I wrap my arms around his neck, and lean my head on his shoulder.
