And I thought about you today, and I thought about the games we used to play, and I thought about the things we did, and I thought about your newest kid.
And damn that makes 2 now. Oh what do I do now? Cause if we ever got together I'd have to be them niggas step-pops forever.
I sat on the bench at the park waiting on Y/N. She is supposed to be meeting me up here but is late of course. How could I blame her though, she does have two kids.
She arrived after a while and she still looked as good as she did back when I liked her a lot. Them feelings never really went away.
Y/N POV
"Go ahead and play, make sure you watch your little brother, Kiara."
"Okay mommy" she said grabbing her little brother, Alex's hand and taking him to the playground.
I sat down with Jermaine and we just talked and got caught up in what was going on in life. I tried my best not to talk about the kids, who were 7 and 2.
I love hanging out with him because he's such a down to earth person. I know the fact that I have kids doesn't sit to well with him, not because of him not liking them but because of the responsibility. Having kids sometimes makes it harder to find a relationship with someone since you always have to put your babies first.
Plus my past relationships never really went too well and I don't enjoy bringing people in and out of my kids lives when they are just gonna leave.
And well that ain't my thing cause I

After talking for a while we both shared a moment of looking into each other's eyes. He leaned in and right as he did I heard Kiara scream "Moommm" and Alex cry.
"Fuck" I hopped up and ran over to them. Cole followed but I was too busy tending to Alex who fell off the swing.
"I didn't know he couldn't go on the big kid swing." She said holding on to Cole's hand.
"It's alright sweetie. I'm sorry Jermaine I'll call you later?" I said picking up Alex.
"Bye mommy's friend." Kiara said grabbing on to my hand and Alex waved as I walked away with them.
"Yeah later." Cole said a but I was too far away to hear him.
Cole POV
I would love to make Y/N my own but I don't have much to bring to the table besides my love. And the way things are now I can see that's no where near enough.

"You want anything to drink J?"
"Nah I'm good love." he said, his eyes exploring around the house. I invited him over since this was the only place I can keep my kids contained. Just then I heard Alex calling me.
"Let me go check on him I'll be right back " Cole nodded and I hopped upstairs.
Coles POV
Y/Ns house was really nice. Not like I expected it not to be. Everything was tidy and neat. Even when she showed me around every room was clean. If there wasn't a couple toys sitting around you would think no kids lived here.
Her daughter Kiara came up to me and smiled bright in my face. She definitely looks like Y/N with her big eyes and dimples.
"You wanna play Barbie with me?" she said putting a doll in my hand practically giving me no choice.
"Sure" I said "You don't have any boy dolls?"
"Yeah but they are asleep silly."
I just looked at her weird as she smiled again.
"Which outfit do you think looks better on me Makena?"
"The pink one." I said talking as the doll.
"Pause. She's a girl so you have to do a girl voice."
I tried to pitch my voice up as best as I could "The pink one."
Kiara giggled. I can't believe I'm doing this.
We kept talking as if we were the dolls and as we were discussing about which skirt was prettier Y/N came down.
"Having fun you two." she said laughing.
"Yeah" we both said my voice still pitched I coughed and changed it back to my normal voice.
"I mean yeah.... just watching her you know."
That made her laugh even harder. I turned red but it's worth it seeing a smile on her face.
