Time flies a little too fast. Now, we're back in each other's arms again. Memories from the past brought a lot of lessons to us that we can apply what would the future might bring. I never thought that something will challenge our love three years ago.

I looked at my sleeping wife beside me. I can't imagine myself loving other woman other than my mom or our future kid and her.

She slightly opened her eyes, literally looks like she just obviously woke up. I kissed her temple and get out of the sheets to prepare some breakfast for us. Tucking her in bed as she closed her eyes, to get some sleep again.

We settled everything for the both of us years ago. Even with my own family, and my brother is now living in states for his work cause he got a lot of opportunity there. I'm grateful for the people who loved and cared for me.

I was a hard headed guy before and it's my fault on what did happened that caused a lot of trouble to the people I love. My best friend, Jake has a kid now and I'm the best man on their wedding day a year ago. He married Vernice and they also did me as a godfather of Vernon.

As I am flipping the eggs and hotdogs, I felt a palm caressing my waist and did hugged me from behind. I tilted my head and saw Calliope burying her head on my back. I let her faced me and I gave her a peck on her forehead.

"I love you, My Artemis." I said.

She buried herself again but she's on my chest now. "I love you, My Artreus." I chuckled softly and caressed her waist carefully.

"Kalandian sa umaga!" We saw Jane getting out of the spare room specifically for our guests. We laughed in unison as we saw her looking at us with a disgusting look on her face.

It was a small world after all. Never thought that Calliope and Jane would be one of the closest friends too as time went by. She's here because it's already late at night when she finished doing her requirements for the job she has to apply.

"Makauwi na nga! Pesteng mga tao sa loob ng bahay na ito." She exclaimed, and my wife rolled her eyes humorously. Umalis siya sa 'kin at lumapit sa kaibigan para asikasuhin ito.

"Napakabitter mo talaga sis! What if tawagan ko si Steve? Naku, talaga sinasabi ko sa 'yo."

"Wala naman akong pake do’n. Edi wow sa kanila akala mo naman napaka gwapong lalaki. Bakit? Siya lang ba pogi sa mundo? Hindi niya ako deserve." Jane answered.

"Baka sis ko 'yan!" Artemis clapped and they fist bumped together. I shook my head and laughed silently.

I realized after many years of longing and pain, there are few true people who's willing to be with you through up's and downs. I learned that life is not the end if something's goes around. All we can do is do not give up. I feel so loved my everyone around me, and I always think that what goes around, comes around.

And that is to give love with everyone too. Like the act of it.

Having faith is one of the most important too as how my journey and how we kept going.

As what Ms. Pauline Seaport said,

"We may run into many downfalls in life, but with a mighty God on our side those downfalls have already been defeated."
