Atsumu Miya never believed the day would come. The day where the person he loved so much would get down on one knee and him to marry him. The day where he would cry true tears of joy. The day he could set his eyes on the future he's always wanted.
It felt fake and like a dream, a dream he wish he could never wake up from. He didn't want to break from the hug he was engulfed in by the raven haired boy, Sakusa Kiyoomi.
It was a chilly fall day, the leaves falling from the trees around them in the park, the sun setting beautifully on the hill, and people chattering faintly.
"Atsumu Miya." The raven haired boy spoke softly interrupting the blonde from his ramble. Atsumu perked up at the usage of his last name, which was very uncommon.
"Yes, Omi?" Turning his head to face the boy.
"These past couple of years have been great. Perfect even. Just being with you helps everything on off days. And I love you, more than you think. So," Sakusa got down on one knee, fumbling with the box with the ring and opened it, "will you do me the honors of marring me?"
State of shock ran through the blonde. His eyes watered and his hands covered his face as he nodded, "Yes, yes, yes!" The blonde jumped into the ravens arms. Both fell to the ground and people gave them weird looks. But they didn't care of what others thought.
"A million times yes." Atsumu looked into the deep black eyes of the one he loved, his now fiancé. Sakusa slipped the sliver band onto his lovers finger.
Atsumu stood up and helped up his fiancé. The both of them held hands as they walked around the park and back home. The walk was quiet but so peaceful and beautiful. Not a distraction in sight. It was a clear night, the stars shined brightly and made Atsumu watch the glistening of the stars in Sakusa eyes.
As they approached their shared house Atsumu clenched Sakusa's hand tighter and gave him a light peck on the cheek as they walked inside.
Slipping off their shoes, the blonde spoke up, "Thank you, Omi."
"For?" He raised an eyebrow at him.
"This."
"This?"
"Everything," he gestured to everything around them, "all of this." He then pointed to the ring on his finger.
Sakusa stared into his eyes and smiled gently. Grabbing the blondes shirt he pulled him into a gentle but passionate kiss. Grabbing him by the hips he pulled him closer, bringing him into a hug as Atsumu's arms wrapped around the others neck. Sakusa's arms wrapped around Atsumu's waist.
Parting the kiss ever so slightly they looked into each other's eyes, "You don't have to thank me, because you've made me so happy. You deserve every bit of this. The world."
"You're so cheesy." Atsumu pulled him into another kiss. This time it wasn't as gentle but still full of passion and love. Sakusa slowly brought them into the living room where they would continue to kiss and cuddle for hours until the blonde fell asleep on his lap.
The day had finally came. The day every last bit of the challenges they faced have paid off. Finally they were together. Finally.
