Zen yawned tired as can be, but with a skip in her step. She knocked on the door of her dorm before entering. "Morning love," Zen said with a smile across her face as she threw herself on her bed.
The other female looked at her and slightly smiled, almost in an ignoring statement. She was sitting up in bed with her laptop and a drawing tablet in hand. "Hello to you too."
It was 12:00 PM and Zen was going to sleep while the other just awoke. Finally in the silence, Zen groaned and sat up looking at the other girl. Just continuing to stare until the other girl finally sighed with the roll of her eyes obviously annoyed. "Yes Z?"
Zen quickly transferred beds to lay next to the other girl, leaning against her with a smile. Zen took the opportunity to spread herself along the other. Glancing up at her before speaking, resting her head upon the girl's lap. "Don't be so sour, Ann." She looked down at me, it wasn't a glare but it wasn't a stare. It was a tender look that always kept me asking, how can I not love you?
"I'm not being sour, I'm trying to do my work and you're all in my space," Ann explained waving her hands around as she spoke to refer to my body taking up her valuable personal space.
"Ugh, why won't you love me already?"
"I love all my bros."
"You know what I mean Ann... don't keep avoiding me."
Zen was a bit irritated as usual with Ann, it was the same each time. All Zen wanted was a little bit of love, and not just the typical friendship love. She crawled off the female and lay on her stomach, as to held herself up on her forearms. Zen rested her chin on the base of her fist peering at what the other was doing. Close, yet it felt so far away to her. Zen was humming hoping to catch Ann's attention for just a moment even if, it's in a hateful way or annoyed glare. With a light table flip of her tablet and loud groan Ann finally gave the girl her attention. Up to no good, Zen had this all planned out from the moment she walked into the room. That smirk she held her prize was shown on her face as she slowly leaned in to make her mark, to either irritate her more or gain her love for just a moment.
Just when things were going good, someone busted through the door. Zen dropped her face into the bed below. Just like how the moment died, she died inside too. Ann quickly punched the girl in the arm and looked at the new being in their presence. "Oh good timing Erica."
"Oh yes, Erica. Great timing... thanks." Zen was stabbing death glares at Erica, hoping she felt the pain just a little as she felt when that moment was ruined.
"Oh hah. Sorry guys, I didn't mean to ruin whatever was happening. I'm just going to get my book and leave."
Ann didn't want Erica to leave, but Zen certainly did. Anyways who comes and gets book at midnight? Erica of course. Trust me, this isn't the first time. Zen sighed and crawled back over to her bed and rested the night away.
