Chapter 4 - Getting Even.

As I looked up I already knew what was coming.  Shane.  As we caught eachothers glances he leaned into me and me into him.. Oh no, Julie this was NOT what you wanted.  Or was it.  Just as our lips were grazing eachother's a familiar squeaky voice filled the room.

'Shanneeeee, where are youuu?'

Quinn.  That little.. nevermind.  Shane quickly pulled away, dropping me in his haste to clear up the scene before she saw us.  I landed with an 'Ooumph' on the glossy black floors, that's gonna leave a bruise.  I stood up brushing myself off, and then brushed my fingertips the place where our lips had gently caressed eachother's, it felt as if it was tingling.  Just then Quinn came in and ran over to Shane hugging him tightly, and planting a kiss on his lips.  The ones I had just touched.  A faint noise came out of my mouth.. a growl.. okay Julie, you're losing it.  Her Amber Green Eyes caught mine and she glared in my direction as Shane recovered from their full-on makeout session.  When Shane looked back to us she put on a fake smile.

'Julieeee!!!!!! Long time no seee, how are you??' to top it off she gave me a big hug.  Pfft.  I mirrored her fake cheer-iness.

'OH QUINN!!!! It's been tooo long!!!' And I gave her a bone-crushing hug right back.  Not my fault I'm like a foot taller than her.  She glared at me before bouncing over to Shane her blonde pig-tails going up and down.  Beyotch. (Btw the swearing thing before.. I fibbed I might use some words in here to make it more realistic :P)  Why didn't Shane tell me this before.  Shane feeling the need to say something spoke up,

'Yeah, so Quinn and I have been going out lately..' Jerk-off.  I'm seriosuly p-oed at him now. 

'Oh my gosh!!!!! That's like soooooo awesome!!! Sooo, how'd it happen!?!?!' My turn to get revenge.

Quinn smacked Shane on the arm, hard.. Okay, possessive & aggresive much?? 'Tell her Shaneeeey!!!'

'Well we were im-ing and she told me she liked me last year and I said I liked her too and we got together.' Shane mumbled, uncomfortably.  Serves him right.

'Well that's just tooooooo adorable!' I looked at the time on my IPod. 'Oh well I better go before I'm late for English! Bye Quinn, Shane.'  And with that I turned on my heels, with my messenger bag on my shoulder and walked out on that sorry excuse of a relationship party.  In my haste I ran into Blake in the halls.  'Crap, sorry.' I muttered as he helped me up.  'No problem, walk with me to English? I need to ask you something.' 'Kay.' I mumbled.  'So I was wondering, I'm on the hockey team here, and all the guys get their girlfriends to come to their games aswell as the afterparties, and I was wondering if you'd wanna come..?'  'As your girlfriend!?' I blurted out.  Stupid Julie.  He laughed uncomfortably.  'Um well how bout we try it out and if it works then yes, we can do it again, but as a couple..' Shane popped into my head, but then so did Quinn.  'Sure I'd love to.' Shane walked by in the halls and as he passed us I kissed Blake on the cheek.  'Thanks again, I'm really excited.' He grinned goofily, and we walked into class together.  In your face jerk.

- End of the Day -

I stood by the steps of the school waiting for Shane.  Curse me having him as a chaperone home.  My parents were way too overprotective.  'Hey..' Shane said awkwardly.  'Hey jerk, c'mon let's go before I throttle you.' 'Whoooaaaa, moody Julie.' I ignored him and walked my own way.  He ran after me, his Nike's thumping on the ground. 'C'mon Jules, I was gonna tell you soon!' 'Get a life.' 'C'mon Jules, you weren't nice either, I didn't know about you and that new creep Blake.' 'That's because it just happened today for god sakes!!' with that I stepped on his shoes and stormed off towards my house.  'Jules you do know that I'm supposed to stay with you until Eric comes home right?' Crap.  I forgot. 'Mhhm, just get in the house.' I slammed the door once he came in and went into the kitchen making us tea, and oreos.  Our usual for every Glee night.  I came into the living room, still mad at him, and turned on the tv.  And found Glee, my favourite show.  I pulled my hair into a pony and sat down as far away from him as possible.

'Julie stop acting like a child and come here.' Shane said.

'Fine.' I muttered and came over to him with my back on the arm of the couch and my legs on his lap, our usual sitting position.  'I'm just mad that we almost kissed when Quinn is your girlfriend!!!!' I shouted randomly through the show.  He sighed and pulled me onto his lap.  'I'm sorry Jules.' he said simply, his face inches from mine, just as we were about to kiss, I slapped him.  'That's what you get, you idiot.  You have a girlfriend!! So don't think you can get all friendly with me anymore, because it's not gonna happen.  I'm already dating someone.' I frowned, feeling guilty.  'Sorry.' I said, and instead of replying he pulled me into a hug and I clung onto him resting my head on his shoulder.  Wow.  I'm really really tired.  I yawned and closed my eyes, and then drifted off to sleep on Shane.  I would definitely regret this later.

So that's Chapter 4.  I hope you like it! Just to clear this up so no one is confused.  I made a mistake in the last chapter when I mentioned Quinn throwing herself at Blake.  I meant to say Aliah.  So yeah it's a totally different girl in this chapter.  I edited it, but I just wanted to say that incase someone saw that and then was confused by this.  Remember to VOTE & COMMENT.
