Fighting and Running

Seth strode back to his family, along side Nero. Nero and Seth had agreed to not tell them where the pool was. Seth had said he did he didnt want them stopping him. He know they would never let him sacrifice himself.

"What was that about?" Grandpa asked.

"Nothing, but we have a plan." Seth said, he turned to Kendra. "Can you still blind things?"

"Of course." Kendra answered bravely.

"I have an idea." Seth said, he smirked.

"Lets hear it." Bracken said.

Seth pointed at Warren and Vanessa. "You guys can run fast?" Seth asked.

"Yeah, why?" Vanessa asked.

"We're gonna round those suckers up." Seth said, he paced back and forth. Thinking.

Finally he pointed at Grandpa and Tanu, "You got potions? Maybe explosions?" Seth asked.

Tanu nodded seriously, Grandpa smiled proudly.

"I need you guys to round them up, tell our allies about it. I want you guys to lead them to the yard. They are terried of us, yet they dont show it they will run into our trap. Tanu, when they are in the yard, make an explosion. Most likely they will all look, I would. And Kendra, you blind them." Seth said.

"You sure about this?" Tanu asked.

"I hope so, now we dont have much time." Seth said, "they'll be that way." Seth pointed north.

"What about you?" Kendra asked.

"You'll see." Seth said.

And on Seth motioned for them to go. With one quick glance back to Seth, Kendra and the others ran towards where they were fighting.
Seth eyed Nero, Nero looked solem. "Ready?" Seth asked.

"Always." Nero said and he turned, and they were both running. Each going faster every moment.

Kendra ran, she ran faster then she ever did. Well to be fair she had a potion of Tanus, but she felt the air rushing past her making her feel less nervous.
Finally she could hear the fighting, and then she saw the fighting. She saw corpses of both men and creatures. There was violent fighting in front of her, blood splatting, teeth biting, scratching, pulling, breaking. It was worse then a full blown far.
"I have an idea." Bracken said, he pulled a large horn like object from his pocket. He put his lips to it, and suddenly she could feel what he was thinking; round them up into the yard. When an explosion goes off you must close your eyes.
The creatures on their side stopped for a moment, thinking. But the men seemed unchanged, had they not heard it?
The creatures fell back, the men stood confused. And then they charged, Seth had been right. They were scared. Warren, Vanessa and Bracken almost as if on que began chasing the men as well.
Kendra held her bow, though she doubted she would need it she followed them. But at a distance. Tanu and Grandpa were behind her, Tanu was awkardly digging in his bag as he ran.
They ran, charging the men. Some fought back, but most ran.
"You weak minded scrounges!" Kendra heard a man yell to his own men who contiuned to run. Kendra ran through the forest. Truely realizing what condiotion that they had been left here with. Moss grew, trees dead. Everything was destroyed.
After many, many minutes of running she could see the yard. Her stomach grew nervous and tight. Kendra held herself upright, ready for her moment to shine. Literally.

Seth ran next to Nero, Set couldnt help but want to stop running towards his own insanity. He was running to his own torture, his own pain. But he had to save them, give his family a chance of freedom. Finally Nero slowed next to a hole in the ground. It was surrounded by many rocks and shrubs, Seth would have never seen it.
