- Hey everyone, I apologise for the late update but I've had a lot of trouble at home and my Mum recently found out she had breast cancer and had to have an operation last Wednesday, however, she's in a lot of pain so she's been relying on my help. Other than that, life is shit. I hope you're all feeling better than I am. ~Talia. xoxo. -

Once again I found my mind debating with itself whether or not to take the elevator and after the not so traumatising interview with Andy, I decided it was fine to do so.

After an incident-free and boring ride down the elevator, out the building, along the street and into the parking tower, I found myself letting out a mental breath I hadn't realised I'd been holding.

The air was cold and stale inside the concrete infrastructure, and my footsteps echoed. It wasn't totally dead, because a few people passed, cars beeped, and pulled out, and there was distant yelling, but it still felt a little ... lonely.

I reached my car, slipping my bag off my shoulder – placing it onto the bonnet – to retrieve my keys.

Upon finding them, I linked my finger through one of the metal rings that held a miniature Minnie Mouse figure that I'd been given as a present from a friend who'd visited Florida last year. I tugged them free of whatever they had caught on, watching as the Disney character imitated a dance, keys jangling.

I turned, pulling my bag off the bonnet, dropping the keys in the process and letting out a curse.

I circled on my heel, bending down to grasp them up, but before I could a hand flashed out and snatched them.

A deep, familiar chuckle emitting from whoever stood beside me.

Frowning, I straightened up, only to regret doing so as I was greeted by him once again.

"Twice in one day, I am a lucky soul." I groaned, extending my hand.

"Nice to see you again, too." He smirked, not giving up my keys.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged before he spoke again.

"I gave you a nice interview didn't I? It'd be rude of me not to ruin your life again somehow."

"I probably would have lived. Now give me my keys."

Andy toyed with them in his hands, rolling his shoulders around as he thought for a minute. "Y'know, I've never had sex in a car before."

I sighed, shaking my head. "For one, I don't believe you and also, I guess you'll be waiting a little longer before it happens."

I only had enough time to back into my car as his arm hooked around me, effectively blocking any means of escape as his body pressed closely against mine.

"Will I now?" He grinned, all too amused with himself, his eyes glinting roguishly almost making me crack.

I sucked in air and put a hand to my jaw as if I were considering before I pressed my other hand to his chest, pushing him back forcefully, trying not to feel his strong heartbeat under my palm.

"Yes." I gave him a bitter but triumphant smile, stealing my car keys from him before stepping away from his structure so that he couldn't secure me again.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got places to go and I'd appreciate it if you didn't follow me this time."

"I can't guarantee that," he smirked. "You never even realised this time so it's likely you'll not know next time." he winked.

I shook my head, placing a hand to my hip as I bluffed my way out of the newest trance his manners had me in. "I did realise. I just didn't want to make it obvious."

Andy arched an eyebrow disbelievingly, his smirk now growing.

Truth is, I hadn't noticed, and I never even had a sense that he'd been there until he reached for my keys, but he really didn't need to know I was incapable of the basic human survival instincts that he seemingly mastered.

Just as he was about to open his mouth and utter something else that may very well eat at me all night, I turned away, unlocking and opening my car door.

"Goodbye, Andy." I said cuttingly.

"Until next time, Poison."

I rolled my eyes at the new nickname he'd christened me with, settling myself into the driver's seat. As I reversed out, Andy just jumping back in time – shame, really. I mean, running over his feet would have been such a shame – and just before I pulled away, he gave me a jaunty little wave.

Arrogant prick.

He deserved the flip-off I gave him right back more than anyone else in the world.

- Once again I apologise for taking so long to post this chapter, I hope you all enjoyed it and it was worth the wait... will you let me know what you think, please? I was planning on entering this into the 2013 Watty Awards but I'm not so sure that now is the right time due to my lack of concentration with everything going on around me, but we'll see. Thank you all for staying with me, I know it's only been like... a week or something, but they say it gets worse before it gets better and I just hope I don't let any of you down. ~Talia. xoxo. -
