A.N: I am back!

Chapter - 8: Arguments and Accidents

"No."

"But, Kai -"

"No, Tyson."

"You are reverting."

"I don't care."

"Ugh! Why are you being so insufferable?!"

"Why are you being so stubborn?!"

"All I am asking is one day!"

"I don't care if it is one day or one minute, the answer is still a NO!"

"You know what, I am gonna do it."

"Fine. Don't come back to me when you inevitably end up hurting yourself."

"I hate you!"

With that, Tyson took off from the dojo, the entrance door slamming behind him. Kai stared at the door for a moment, his expression one of utter shock, before he carefully schooled it to one of indifference. He spun on his heel and ran up the stairs.

"What.. just happened?" Max asked meekly.

"Hell if I know," Ray muttered, and followed Kai.

The day had started like any other day for the Blade Breakers. Kai woke up first, followed by Ray. And, when the both of them were going through their first cup of coffee, Max had joined them. An hour later, Ray went to work on breakfast while Kenny came to the dojo. Then, Kai went to wake up Tyson.

Tyson came down on Kai's back, talking something with him animatedly, while Kai was humming and chuckling here and there, his hands supporting Tyson's thighs so that he wouldn't fall off his back. The other three had exchanged a fond smile at the sight.

Then, after breakfast, while Kenny was working on Dizzy about the stuff Tyson had found out from Dragoon two days ago, along with all the other things the Bonded Duo had told them, and Max was in the kitchen along with Ray, washing the dishes, the shouting match had started. Then, Tyson must have asked Kai something via their mind link, and Kai answered a 'No'.

From there, it was like watching a tennis match. Tyson said half sentences, and Kai's only answer was 'No'. It kinda reminded the three of the old Kai. Which was very weird because Kai had shown almost no signs of the old Kai except for when he was in 'Captain Kai' mode. Now, Tyson was god - knows - where, and Kai was upstairs.

Max thought for a second before deciding to go after Tyson. He knew that Ray would take care of Kai. So, he told Kenny to keep an eye on the dojo, put his coat on, and took Tyson's coat too as he had left without it.

Max figured that Tyson might not have gone too far. But, he also knew that Tyson could walk freakishly fast when he was angry. So, he started a light jog, letting his eyes take in every single space, trying to spot his friend.

Back in the dojo, Ray was trying to get Kai to open the door.

"Kai, I just wanna talk to you."

"Not now, Kon."

"You know that I grew up with a little thief called Kevin, right? Picking locks is like breathing to me now. So, I am just trying to be polite and give you a chance."

There was no reply. Ray sighed softly, and picked the lock in seconds. He found Kai sitting on the desk with his laptop open in front of him.

"What happened?"

"I don't know what you are talking about."

"Kai, we aren't blind. You didn't shout at Tyson for once since we came here, excluding that little fight you had when he broke his promise. And, what did you mean when you said that he might hurt himself?"
