Alisha stands in front of Magnus as he looks at the red skin around her parabatai rune. The Lightwoods suggesting going to Magnus after it didn't disappear with an iratze. The Bane was softly pressing on her reddened skin making her wince slightly.
"Everything seems okay, just sore. Your inner wolf, as I like to call it, will heal it in a day or two. It's your body getting used to being free of such demonic powers." Magnus concludes after prodding her collar bone for a while. "There's some cream back in my apartment if you would like it, it will soothe the pain."
"I'm alright. Thank you Mags." Alisha smiles at the man who smiles back.
"Of course peanut." Magnus says, nodding at Alec, who was standing beside Alisha, who nods back.
"Thank you Magnus." The older Lightwood says genuinely. Magnus smiles, but it only lasts for a few seconds.
"There's something I need to tell the both of you." He states, glancing between the couple who stand side by side.
"What's wrong?" Alisha questions the man in front of her.
"Isabelle." He answers making the two immediately grow concerned. "She came to me about cravings." He begins.
"Cravings for what?" Alec asks, worried for his sister.
"Cravings for venom." Magnus answers making the two freeze. After a while, Alisha nods her head slowly.
"Thank you Magnus." The man nods before hugging her goodbye. The hybrid turns around and looks up at Alec who has a deep frown on his face.
"Why didn't she tell us?" He questions his girlfriend.
"We don't really come across as the non-worrying type." She shrugs with a small smile. "Izzy wouldn't want us to stress about her. I know she'd come to us if things got too much okay?" Alec nods.
"Okay but I want to see her." He states, grabbing her hand gently.
"Just don't confront her about it." She says and Alec nods as they walk through the Ops Centre. As the two enter the Weaponry, Isabelle walks over to the computers' keyboard with shaky breath. Alisha immediately notices the uneasy feeling her parabatai is feeling and smiles slightly at the bond being reconnected.
"Dead end on the Morning Star case?" Alec asks as he walks over to the screen, his hand still tightly wrapped around Alisha's one.
