"Put me down."

Seokjin and Taehyung arrived at GKBK's waiting room, and Seokjin carefully put him down.

"Are you crazy? Why did you jump off the stage?" Taehyung looked worried.

Seokjin crossed his arms. "Did I have to stand by?"

"Of course. I can put up with anything for your competition—"

"Why do you have to put up with it? Let me tell you, I've been angry for days. Gaming is my own business. Being in love is my own business. Winning or losing is also my own business. I just can't stand them blaming you! If they want to criticize you, they should judge me too. I don't spoil them. Why does my boyfriend who's been spoiled by me have to be bullied by those who don't know us at all? And they did this in the name of defending me personally. How can I put up with that? And why should you put up with it?"

Taehyung was just listening to him and couldn't even talk.

Seokjin raised his eyebrows. "Do we owe them? Who are they?"

Taehyung pouted. "What are you, a fool? It's as if I'd be cut off by being judged by them."

Seokjin looked away, but Taehyung cupped his cheeks. "Hey, look at me. Aren't you childish?—"

"I'm childish?—"

"Let me finish first. I told you, as long as I'm with you, no matter if it's a mountain of fire or an abyss ten thousand feet ahead of me, I will wade through even with my eyes closed. At first, I didn't understand your dream of esports. But since I returned to South Korea, and after the opening game, I've watched you play games step by step until now. Although I still don't understand all those operations, such as turret breaking—"

"It's a turret crossing." Seokjin softly chuckled as he held Taehyung's hand.

"It doesn't matter what turret it is, I just know you're not going to leave the stage of gaming at least for the first half of your life. I also know, you can't leave me for your entire life." Taehyung smiled, and Seokjin smiled at him, too.

"Therefore, I won't play a bitter drama, making you choose between gaming and your boyfriend. Since I have already made up my mind, I won't regret it. If I can't even bear this little fight, how could I fall in love with you? Being together with people like you, I just need to accept the attention and judgment, right?" Taehyung asked.

Seokjin smiled and nodded at him.

"My boyfriend is so capable. He's a star in the esports industry." Taehyung smiled, and Seokjin blushed at the compliment.

"Whether they give their blessings or not, our future has nothing to do with them. I'm not kidding when I say that if it's a mountain of fire or an abyss ten thousand feet ahead of me, I will—"

Taehyung couldn't even finish his words when Seokjin suddenly kissed him on the lips. Jimin at the door was smiling and proud of his friends.

Seokjin pulled out from the kiss as he looked into Taehyung's eyes.

"I love you, honey."

"I love you most."

And they kissed again.

Jimin sighed, feeling envious at how brave Taehyung was.

How to have that confidence?  I'm starting to feel afraid of the fans, too.

Jimin closed the door because he didn't want to interrupt the couple. As soon as he turned around, he saw Jungkook crossing his arms while looking at him.

"What's with the worried face?"

Jimin sighed. "That's tough."

"It is indeed tough for Taehyung. But do you think you could keep this from me?"

Jungkook showed him his phone, and Jimin wasn't even surprised that Jungkook already saw the threat comments and messages.

"These keyboard warriors are short of oxygen tanks again. These are all the compilations of hate towards you and Seokjin. What do you think?"

"First, Seokjin didn't do anything bad. He just spoke a little loudly. He won't be banned, right? He won't be punished, right? Taehyung didn't do anything either. He usually can't take any losses. Today, he suffered all the grievances, so that Seokjin Hyung could rest assured in playing the game. What more do they want? They're just in a relationship, just like us. How can there be so many reasons? How can there be so many schemes and tricks?" Jimin asked.

"If you really like a person, who cares if the person is a famous player or a star? You just like the person, that's it."

"Players are human too. They also have their own loved ones, who they want to be with. What's wrong with that? Or is it fundamentally wrong to think that way?" Jimin sighed, still not removing his worried face.

Jungkook fixed Jimin's hair. "As a public figure, your body, hair and skin all don't belong to you in the first place. The reason we exist is to win the game, to please the fans and to play for the team. So we will do whatever it takes to accomplish all these things. This seems to be very right. Of course, there are many people who think this way. But if even the players themselves think so, that'll be bad."

"Winning and losing is of course important. But compared to the fans' satisfaction with the results, we are the ones who should face the results frankly. So, to put it selfishly, this is our business. Thank you for your love and support. But whether we win or lose really doesn't seem to be your business. That's the right thing to say." He added.

Jimin suddenly wrapped his arms around Jungkook's waist burying his face in his chest. Jungkook hugged him back.

"Now, why did you keep this to yourself and not talk about it to me? I didn't know you were receiving threats—"

"Love, they won't do that. They are just those keyboard warriors who are jobless in this world."

Jungkook pouted. "And what if someone makes it happen? I won't forgive myself if something bad happens to you."

Jimin looked up at him, and smiled. "Don't say that. I'm fine. I have all of you. I won't be hurt, trust me."

Jungkook cupped his cheeks. "Just make sure to tell me everything and that you won't keep it just to yourself, love."

Jimin heavily sighed. "You're too sensible. Unlike me, I sometimes am affected by them. I'll be sad. I'll be upset."

Jungkook smiled. "Everyone is like that."

"But you don't seem to be like that. Love, are you really so strong that you're fearless?"

"Yes. I am. Because I have to protect you."

Jimin pouted. "Forget it. Give me a hug again."

Jungkook softly chuckled. "Why do you sound as if the world is coming to an end?"

"When I think about the fact that such good pectoral and abdominal muscles may not belong to me anymore tomorrow. It's really like the end of the world." Jimin chuckled.

"Oh god, love. I'm all yours, you don't have to worry about that."
