I heard my alarm go off which meant time for my first day at work. I wasn't nervous all that much considering Harry is my friend and now boss. I was actually quite thrilled and relieved that now I finally have a job.I head downstairs after I finished getting ready. I almost face planted down the stairs. I was so excited.
"Woah, hey! Slow your roll kid." Dad stops me from heading out that door.
"Dad, I'll be late! Please move." I frown, I crossed my arms. I was annoyed with my father to say the least.
"Okay, okay. Have fun, sweetheart." Just as I thought he was gonna let me leave, I stand corrected. I groan in frustration.
"But not too much fun, remember you're at work. Also, don't let this job stand in your way of getting into college." Dad raised his brow.
I roll my eyes. "Dad, I really gotta go. I'm serious." I said.
He finally moved out of the way and I hurriedly made my way to my car. I was just ready to leave that house. Good thing Oscorp will keep me busy.
I entered Oscorp and smiled with content, taking in all the chaotic mess it was. No offense to Harry nor Norman. I just assume that's the way things were.
It's fitting, I think. I make my way into his office and I give him the biggest smile in existence.
"Hey Osborn," I threw him a wink. He chuckled softly.
"I know we're friends outside of this it we must keep business professional, Y/N. Sorry." He states.
I take a seat in the chair across from him. I nod. "Understandable, Mr Osborn. So, what do I do?"
"Well, as my assistant is appreciate you filling out papers for me." He says, handing over stacks of paper.
My eyes widen as I give him a pleading look. Although, I knew he wasn't gonna take no for answer. I have to take this job seriously, I kept thinking to myself.
"Thank you," Harry finally said. He stood up, fixing his suit. "I have a meeting in the conference room. If I call you down, just know you it's not in trouble.. it's just business is stressful." He let out.
I snort. "Thanks ahead of time, Mr Osborn."
He nodded before walking out. I feel like I'm starting to like him.
