A New Person

The most fucked up joke life can play on you is letting you meet the right person at the wrong time.

I saw a person walking along the road as I walked down the street. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the person. Despite my best efforts, I was only able to discern the outline of that person. By his figure, I could tell that he was a man. As he walks toward me, the man keeps his eyes on me. In my opinion, he was dangerously close to me. There was slight contact between our noses. A kiss was about to be exchanged between us. There is so much speed in my heart that I feel like I am running an Olympic race. Taking my face into his hands, he passionately kissed me. Then I backed away. Suddenly, he vanished into thin air as I reached for his face. I looked around, but I couldn't find him. My world suddenly turned dark.

The moment I opened my eyes, I realized I was on the floor beside my bed. So... I guess it was just a dream, wasn't it? Since when do I dream about romantic fantasies like this? Seriously, what the hell is wrong with me? After getting up from the floor, I walked around. In order to find out what time it was, I reached for my phone on the nightstand. Six o'clock in the morning. As soon as I got out of the shower, I walked into the kitchen. My mind wandered as I wandered around duskwood streets mindlessly after eating some breakfast. With their busy lives and responsibilities, people are pressed for time. Going home was my next move after wandering aimlessly for a while.

As I approached the door to my home, I was about to open it. Then, I spotted a man. His hand was on the door of the next house as he opened it. The house he lives in is next door to mine. His body appears to be well-built, even though I couldn't see him clearly. An all-black hoodie covers his body. A hood is pulled down over his face. I can see his hair. It was black. I must say... he is quite handsome. A sigh escaped my lips and I entered my home. Opened my laptop to finish the work I'd been putting off. After settling down on the couch, I began working. Time passed by so quickly for me because I was so focused on my work.

It wasn't long before Jessy called me. With a sigh, I set my laptop down on the table. Checking the time made me realize I had spent so much time working. The exhaustion hit me hard. I guess I'd like some time off. As soon as I picked up my phone, I answered it.

Jessy: Hey Zel!

Me: Hey Jessy! How's everything? I was wondering why you called me. Does it have to do with urgent matters? Does everything seem to be going well?

Jessy: Nothing to worry about, Zelda. There is no need for you to worry. As I sit here, I'm getting a little bored. What would you think of going out with me? Our minds need to be cleared a bit.

Me: I'm thinking the same thing. My exhaustion makes me think hanging out with you would be the best thing to do.

Jessy: The fact that you're coming with me makes me so happy. Keep an eye out for me. You can expect me at your house soon.

Me: We'll see each other at my house.

Jessy: Okay, bye.

She's coming, so that's great. Jessy has always been a favorite of mine. We have had a close relationship from the beginning. The support she gave me was always unconditional. She cheered me up when I was disappointed by Lilly's video of me and Jake. As far as I was concerned, she was the only person who was close to me besides Jake. Despite being honest, naive, and cute, she showed kindness to everyone. It is easy for me to express myself freely when I am with her. There is a lot of understanding between us. The fact that she is a friend like mine makes me feel grateful.

It wasn't long before Jessy showed up. As I waved my hand toward her, she looked at me. After embracing each other, we parted ways. Finally meeting her makes me so happy. It makes me upset to see her sometimes. It was impossible for her to release her brother from jail even though he was innocent. A best friend of hers is unconscious in the hospital. There is a misperception of her among others. It seemed to me that she needed a long hug from me. Then I invited her into my home. The two of us sat down on the sofa and talked about random topics

After some discussion, we decided to go out for a walk. In the middle of locking the door, Jessy poked me in the shoulder with a finger and pointed toward the man.

Jessy: Hey! Have you seen that man? What a handsome man he is, isn't he?

I then turned to look at the man. It didn't take me long to realize that he was the same person I saw this morning. Probably wandered around duskwood.

Me: That's right, I saw him this morning. The house next to mine is where he lives. There's no denying he's handsome. Have you ever met him?

Jessy: I have never seen him before. It looks like he's new to Duskwood. Would you mind telling me how you feel about your new hot neighbor? - She winked at me.

Me: As a matter of fact, there is no need to feel anything. I only know him as a stranger.

Jessy: It might be a good idea to go to him and ask his name. In order to satisfy my curiosity, I need to find out more.

The fact that she is so stubborn made me sigh. The two of us slowly walked toward him. We caught his attention. His gaze was fixed on me. The man was lost in his own thoughts.

Jessy: Hello Mr. Are you new to duskwood?

Man: Just came here today, yes.

Jessy: Do you have a particular reason for visiting Duskwood?

A long pause followed before the man responded.

Man: Hmm... Having heard that the pine glade festival is taking place, I came to duskwood today.

Jessy: Oh! Greetings, I'm Jessy, and this is Zelda. It is a pleasure to meet you. Do you mind telling us your name, Mr. Handsome?

Man: I am umm I.. umm I am... Alex. I'm Alex, it's nice to meet you.

Me: I'm glad to meet you, Alex. The fact that you live next to me means that we will meet later. Looking forward to seeing you soon

Then we started moving away from him. He was just looking at me all the time. His way of looking at me seems to indicate that he is intrigued by me. There was just something I couldn't identify. I saw so many places thanks to Jessy. As we parted ways, we headed back to our homes.
