ME, INSIDE OUT

CHAPTER 1

She opened her eyes and it felt like she was in a game. It works, she smiled. She saw some words appear in front of her. Welcome to the world of Sci-Fi! You are about to live the life of a character named Alvina. This is just a simulation, but your choices will affect the flow of the story so make choices that you want to make. Press start when you're ready to go, it read. "Interesting, just like a game. I guess I'm ready," she pressed the start button. Everything went black.

When she opened her eyes, she was somewhere else. The world looked so large in her eyes. She looked down at her body and realized that she was a baby. I'm a baby, she thought. The door opened. "Is our baby girl already up?" her father said and lifted her up. "Aren't you the cutest thing in the world?" her mother tickled her. She giggled. They brought her outside.

"One day, you will be successful, Alvie and you'll get what you deserve which is happiness," her father said. "And we'll be right behind you, cheering you on," her mother said and kissed her on the forehead. Is this what a mother and father's love are like? It's nice, she smiled.

A few years have passed, she was seven years old now. She grew up to be a child prodigy. She was a genius just like her parents. She liked to see what her parents were doing. She was interested in Rocket Science at the time. She found a blueprint of a rocket on the table.

She decided to draw the blueprint. She finished the drawing. She went to her father. "Daddy, look at what I drew!" She showed him the drawing. "That's my girl! Alvie, I have something to tell you, "he said. He lifted her and put her on his lap. "What is it daddy?" she asked. "Do you want to come to mommy and daddy's lab tomorrow?" he asked. "Yes!" she shouted excitedly. He smiled. He kissed her cheeks. "You're so cute," he said.

She giggled. "You guys are having so much fun until you guys didn't realize that I just got home," her mother said. "Mommy!" She jumped down and ran to her mother. "Alvie, my little angel," she lifted her. "Mommy, daddy said that I can go to your lab tomorrow," she said. "Are you excited for it?" she asked. "Yeah, it's going to be so much fun!" she shouted.

Her mother looked at the clock. "Well, it's getting late. Let's go to sleep, sweetie," her mother said. "I don't feel tired though," she said. "You need all the energy you can get for tomorrow, Alvie," her father said. "Plus, you get to sleep with us tonight," her mother said. Her face beamed with excitement. "Well, let's go then! What are we waiting for?" she pulled both of her parents to the bedroom. They went to bed together. They cuddled and fell asleep. It feels warm, she thought. She had a very happy dream.

The next day, she was so excited. They got into the car. She couldn't stop smiling the whole entire time. She kept bouncing in her seat. Her parents smiled looking at her. They finally arrived at the lab. They went in. Everybody greeted them. Everybody is so nice, she thought. She was so happy.

As soon as she entered the lab, she was mesmerized. Her eyes gleamed with excitement. "Wow!" she shouted. "Do you like it?" her father asked. "Yeah, I love it here. It's so cool! Can I look around?" she asked excitedly. "Yes, honey. Be careful," her mother said. She ran in excitement. She felt like she was in a dream. So cool, she thought.

She was running when she accidentally bumped into somebody. "Ow," she held her head. She looked at the person she bumped into. It was a boy. "I'm sorry," she stood up. "It's okay," he smiled. She held out her hand. "Are you okay?" she asked. "Yeah," he took her hand. "I'm Alvina, you can call me Alvie though," she introduced herself. "I'm Nester, you can call me Nes," he said. "So, your parents work here?" she asked. "Yep," he replied. "Mine too. Do you want to hang out?" she asked. He nodded excitedly. She smiled and pulled his hand.

They always played with each other. They became very close together. They were always together. They grew up together. Their parents also became close friends. They went to the same school. They were always in the same class. Their seats were also next to each other.
