Ok this oneshot will be in (Y/N)'s pov.

(Your P.O.V)

You glanced nervously at your watch and looked around the restaurant for any sign of your date. "He should've been here by now.." you muttered under your breath. Your gut wrenched in uneasiness as the thought of (R/N) not showing up.

"..Are you ready to order now ma'am/sir?" The waitress asked. You gave her another apologetic look. "Sorry," you laughed nervously. "He should be showing up any minute now." The waitress glanced at the clock on the wall, then back at you, giving you a sympathetic look. You felt the uneasiness stab at the heart. Looking around, you could see people glancing at you, flashing you apologetic looks as if they know what happened. You slowly slid down in your seat, a tear threatening to fall from your eye. The thought of being stood up was devastating.

"Oh, sorry I was late babe, the traffic out there was horrible!" You heard a voice loudly state as a stranger sat down on the opposite side of the table. "I'm Xyx by the way doll," he whispered. "Whoever stood you up is a complete moron for passing this opportunity." Xyx was remarkably handsome, he had a beautiful Australian accent which can make anyone swoon if he plays his cards right. The man looked laid back but with a spark you can't quite seem to understand, almost dangerous even...but that excited you.

"That's alright babe!" You stated equally loud, giving him a wink. "I'm (Y/N), nice to meet you." You whispered. Silently thankful that this man has decided to join you and save you from the embarrassment. You looked around to see people rolling their eyes at you and Xyx obviously jealous that a very handsome man has finally joined you. You let out a small sigh and looked up at Xyx, who was closely studying the menu. "I've never eaten here before," he chuckled nervously. "Got any suggestions?" You pondered for a moment, looking down at your menu. 

"What about.. the shrimp cocktail? You sorta look like a shrimp guy." You commented. Xyx smirked, sending butterflies through your stomach. "I think I'll take your advice on that, dollface." Xyx answered, which sent blood rushing to your cheeks. You stay and talked with Xyx that night while eating (Your favorite meal). You would occasionally steal glances at your watch and the door but there was no sign of (R/N). 

"Well, I'm stuffed!" Xyx chuckled, pushing his plate the the side. "What about you doll? You almost done?" He asked. You nodded in agreement and went to grab the check. Xyx gently grabbed your wrist and slowly pushed it back to yourself, his actions making you blush. "I'm not making a lovely person like as yourself pay for this meal." Xyxy objected, reaching for the check with that little smirk of his. 

"But-" you started. 

"No, no, it's fine love, honestly." Xyx interrupted. After he paid you both walked out linked arms until you were a little ways away from the restaurant. You whipped out your phone and dialed (R/N)'s number. Still upset that the guy stood you up but actually turned out surprisingly well since you met with the fate of seeing Xyx. "Excuse me for a sec Xyx." You asked. The handsome man nodded and walked around the corner where you couldn't see him. You pressed call and held the phone up to your ear. Tapping your foot impatiently you waited for (R/N) to pick up. "Oh, hey, what's up (Y/N)?" You heard a groggy voice croak from the other end of the line. You had figured that he had just woken up from a nap. Letting out a very long sigh to realease some of your frustration, you began to speak.

"(R/N), where were you?" You asked calmly. 

"Hanging out with the guys, where were you?" (R/N) demanded, starting to wake up now. "Where was I? I was at the restaurant for our date that took me two months to reserve!" You were practically yelling at your phone now, causing passerby to give you a strange look. The other end of the line was silent until you hear a long sigh. "Babe, I'm-"..."No (R/N)!" You growled at your phone and pinched the bridge of your nose. "Since you love 'hanging with the guys' so much and never have enough time for us to spend together, I'll do you a favor. I'm done. Now you'll have all the time in the world to spend with your friends. Goodbye." 

"(Y/N), I-" You pressed the end button and rubbed your eyes before you broke out in a full blown sob. You tensed up when you felt a hand on your shoulder. Looking up you see a very concerned looking Xyx staring down at you, the look making you a little red in the face embarrassed he's seeing you like this. "...are you ok?" You heard Xyx asked, leaning down to get a closer look at your face when you look away. "Yeah..I'm fine." You lied. Xyx moved you to face him, staring deeply into your watery eyes. You felt your bottom lip quiver.

"..no.." you choked out. Xyx enveloped you into a very warm and very much needed embrace. And while much appreciated, you still squirmed in his hug. "Stop! I'm gonna get your shirt all wet!" You warned. The man hugging you chuckles. "I'll worry about that later." Xyx coaxed gently. You buried your face into his shoulder, wetting his clothes with your tears. He ran his fingers slowly through your hand swayed you both ever so slightly. The world seemed to freeze and your were anchored to Xyx as if you let go he'll be gone. When you finally part he has you look up to him, as he wipes a stray tear off of your cheek. "Look, I know that this might be too soon but maybe you and I could go on another date sometime?" Xyx asked, his eyes gazing at you so caringly you felt your heartbeat quicken.

"Sure." You smiled and quickly jotted down your phone number on an old receipt. Xyx grinned and gave you a devilish peck on the cheek. "Thank you." He stated and started to walk off slowly, "I'll give you a call tonight." he yelled back with a award winning smirk on his face.

"Just what are you doing to me Xyx?" You chuckled, anticipating your next date with this mysterious but charming man.
