dreams pov

(sunday)

i kept my eyes on the clock, 4:59. come on come on come on! i thought to myself. i sat in front of the computer screen, hypnotized by the clock. nick was standing behind me with his hands on the back of my chair, y/n was on speaker phone. adrenaline was coursing through each of our bodies.

"it's 5 dream!" y/n shouted through the other end of the phone.

i scrambled to grab my computer mouse, i quickly and harshly left clicked the mouse, clicking the small post button on the monitor.

"andddddd It's posted!" i cheered, quickly standing from the chair and giving nick a high-five then pulling him into a quick hug. i could hear y/n clapping from the phone.

"our first ever manhunt with leafy!" nick cheered. "just wish george was here to enjoy this moment with us,"

"yeah me too" y/n spoke. "sorry guys i gotta go tho, i'll talk to ya both later!" i could basically feel her smile through the phone.

"bye leaf" nick and i said in unison. i miss her cute smile.

y/n's pov

you dropped your phone down on your phone and flopped down letting out a loud sigh. i miss clay. suddenly, there was knocking from the front door, you shot up from the bed and slowly headed towards the door,

"y/nnnnn lemme innnn" a desperate rexy yelled from the other side of the door. you laughed at them. you quickened your pace to the door, quickly unlocking it and opening it. rexy's hands were full of bags of snacks.

"movie night?" they tilted their head and gave you a dorky smile. you smiled and shook your head.

"only if we can watch at least one horror movie" you stepped out of the way so rexy could step in.

"well duhhh" they teased. they stepped in and plopped the snacks down on the counter. "i got your favs" rexy said turning to you. you closed the door, locking it. you followed rexy to the counter to see the variety of snacks.

"fuck yeah" you fist bumped the air, both of you breaking out into laughter.

you grabbed your snacks and rexy grabbed theirs. the both of you walked into the living room and plopped down on the sofa. you turned on the tv and handed rexy the remote to pick a movie. you got comfy, wrapping y/f/c blanket and laying it over your legs and started to munch on your snacks while rexy searched for a movie. they eventually put on scream.

rexy placed the remote down on the small table in front of the sofa and leaned back against the sofa, sneakily grabbing the hem of your blanket and adjusting it onto their lap as well. you turned to look at them and giggled as they gave a big, goofy smile.

halfway through the movie you yawned, glancing over at rexy who had already passed out. their mouth was open and they were snoring quietly. you smiled softly before closing your eyes. you soon too fell asleep.

*the next morning*

you slowly opened your eyes as the bright sun filled your vision. you raised your hands to you face and rubbed your eyes gently, sitting up on the couch in the process. once you vision had adjusted to the brightness of the sun you looked over to where rexy was. they had fallen onto the floor at some point and you giggled at them.

"rexy wake up" you groaned while tapping them with your foot. you could hear muffled sighs coming from them.

"what time is it?" they asked, their voice still groggy. you grabbed your phone and glanced at the time, 10:02am.
