Levi's POV:

I immediately opened the letter. It was pretty long. There was two papers inside, two papers filled with what she wanted to say to me.

I started to read it.

Dear Levi,

By the time you are reading this I
Have probably already passed away... It's weird to write to someone I just saw a while ago. I want to thank you for everything. Thank you for being by my side all this time. Thank you for comforting me. Thank you for giving me baths even though I hated baths. Thank you for making me tea.

I still have so much I want to say to you but whenever I want to say it the words just never come out... I'm sorry for not staying by your side till the end.

I hope you're doing okay. I hope you're eating well. Have your sleeps improved? Is the war over now? Are there still Titans? Have you found someone that you can spend the rest of your life with?

Levi, please live a full life for me. Live happily and don't live a life of regret.

I read the second paper of the letter.

I am happy to have met you. I'm happy to have become your friend. Levi, I'm sorry for not telling you everything.

The truth is, I never wanted to become commander, I just didn't have any other choice. I knew I could never do a commanders job as well as Erwin. Sometimes I just want to sleep for three days straight. I'm so tired, Levi. But I know you are too.

It was very.. Enchanting to meet you. When I first meet you, I was very curious about your strength and your capabilities. I wanted to get to know more about you.

Levi, I love you. I always have and I always will. I'm sorry for not telling you myself. Do you have feelings for me too? I'm guessing not, knowing what type of person you are, you aren't the type to fall in love.

If we are reborn, I want to meet you again, but this time I want a happy ending. I know happily ever after doesn't exist but that is my dream. I wanted to experience growing old with you. I wanted to be the one that you'll love.

Maybe in another life we could start over again.

I felt something warm stream down my face. I was crying....

I couldn't help but feel like my heart was aching.

The fresh tears continued to roll down my face non stop.

I wiped my eyes.

I read the letter over and over again.

Those words continue to play in my mind.

I looked at the old clock in the room. 4pm... I was in here for 2 hours reading the letter over and over again.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" I said coldly

"Levi! We're back! We bought some bread for you" Gabi says as she handed me the bread

"Thanks.."

I will forever keep this letter.
