Until we meet again

Levi's POV:

It has been decades since the war ended.

I held Hange's letter in my old and frail hands.

Looking out the window, I saw that the sky was calm and beautiful.

'Maybe we should just live here together. Right, Levi?'

Maybe we should have just lived together in the forest.

I could feel like my time was coming.

"Levi, we're back" Falco says as he let's go of his six years old daughters hand.

"Gabi, Falco, Brielle" I said the the three

"Yes Levi?" Gabi asked

They went over to me and sat on the chairs near me.

"Gabi, Falco, thank you for taking care of me up until now. Brielle, be a good girl to your parents. Thank you, all of you" I said giving a slight smile

"Levi what do you mea-" Falco was cut off by me talking

"I could feel like my time has come. Please don't be upset. Please let me go... I... I want to see my fallen comrades again. Don't worry, I will keep watching over you"

They started to tear up. Gabi began sobbing and I could see the pain in Brielle's eyes.

"Alright, Levi. I hope to see you again, one day" Gabi says smiling at me

"Goodbye Levi, thank you as well" Falco says

Brielle looks at me and smiles

"I hope you see your comrades again, bye bye Levi"

I smile as I felt my eyelids grow heavy. I closed my eyes.

"Leeeviii!!"

"Leeeviii!"

Those voices echoed in my head. I reopen my eyes and see Hange and all my fallen comrades in front of me.

Hange hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Welcome home" She says

I smile.

"It's nice to see you again, Levi" Erwin says

My eyes widened when I saw Farlan and Isabel.

"Bro.." Isabel says as she walked over to me

"Hey Levi, long time no see" Farlan says as he smiles towards me

"You guys"

I looked at my hands and I saw that all my fingers were there. My old and frail hands was now back to it's original texture.

I look over to Hange and she smiles at me.

"you read my letter, I hope those words managed to fix your broken heart just a bit" Hange says

"It did" I paused and leaned over to whisper into her ear "I love you too"

Her eyes widened at my statement and she smiled

"I promise... In our next life, we will end up together. We could finally have our happily ever after"

I smiled.

I walked over to the science room and I bumped into a girl with chocolate brown hair.

"Oh sorry my bad" I said as I tried to help her up

"It's fine"

She got up and I was able to see her face. She has caramel brown eyes that were covered by glasses.

I don't know why but my heart skipped a beat when I saw her.

"I'm sorry but, have we met?" She asked

"I don't think so" I say

"I didn't quite catch your name, what is your name?"

"I- I'm Levi, Levi Ackerman, and you?"

"I'm Hange Zoe, just call me Hange"

Hange... Sounds familiar

"Wanna eat at the cafe after school?" She asked

"Sure"

"Alright! See you later Levi!" She says as she waved me goodbye.

Hange Zoe... I felt like I've met her before, I just don't know when and where.
