Apologies on being so late working on other books plus my attention span is like a hamster in a microwave))

Finishing up my breakfast I took my plate downstairs and put it in the sink.

I open the front door and left without a word. Closing it behind me quietly I took off.

"Where you going?" A voice said stopping me in my tracks "uh library" I answered turning around to see Edric "psh I know you're gonna go see Luz, just be back before mom and dad. Notice you're out with Luz you know they'd kill you if they found out" Edric shrugged "well I ain't dead yet am I? I'll be back soon just don't rat me out" I chuckled turning around and walked off.

I took the shortcut that I always took to get to the owl house. My feet fluttered each step I took wanting to see Luz.

Luz and I are very close, some would call us girlfriends but it isn't official.. We kiss sure and I enjoy every bit of it.. but we aren't dating of course.. not yet that is.

I got to the owl house and stood outside waiting for Luz.

Yesterday We agreed on going to the library today.

I got there a bit earlier that what we agreed on I sat and waited for Luz to leave the house. It was quite peaceful, birds chirping, beautiful sunny skies with the perfect weather to compliment it.

The door opened and shut closed. I looked over to see Luz with a little purse on her shoulder she looked over at me and smiled greatly.

"Do you have to be here so early?" Luz asked walking over to me giving me a big hug "well it ain't polite being late.. and because I get to see my Luz so I thought I should be early" I giggled wrapping my arms around her body.
Holding her close in a hug I let go and smile "Cmon let's go" I said taking her hand and pulling her along side me as we walk to town.
Her hand was as warm as the sun and just as smooth and soft.

"We're heading to the library right?" Luz asked "where else would we go?" I replied with a smile "just asking maybe a diner get breakfast"

"Already had breakfast" I replied quickly "oh.. uh well maybe to the park or behind an alley way getting mugged or whatever else there is to do"

"You hungry or something?" I asked looking over at luz with a brow raised "no I already had breakfast I was just wondering if we'll switch things ups" luz replied "alright how about tomorrow we get breakfast together?" I suggested "yea sure" luz said happily "alright it's a date then" I smiled joyfully. "Oh it's a date? Well In that case" luz leaned over and kissed my cheek.

My face lit up in a bright red blush "oh luz always know how to make me happy" I said.
Dating or not being around her made my heart race, feeling it pound every secret made me feel so alive!

An hour later

Me and luz reached the library still holding hands, they were really warm and stuck together from the heat.

I peeled my hand off of Luz's and walked inside the library.

"Morning amity, morning amity's girlfriend" a guy at the counter said as we walked by "you hear that amity's girlfriend" Luz whispered to me making me smile.

We got to our usual spot in the library a little secret hide out I made and where I spend most my time when I was younger.

I sat down on a bean bag chair sinking into it getting out a azura book.

Luz looked through some books trying to find a perfect book to read.

"Hey luz Come here" I said patting my lap

Luz smiled and walked over and sat down on my lap leaning back onto my chest, she took my book and and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Can I ask you something" I whispered in Luz's ear making her shiver a bit "yes? Amity?" She replied melting into my arms.

"Y'know we ain't kids Anymore.. so I was wondering if you'd like to.. go out with me y'know girlfriend and girlfriend make it official I mean we already kiss and people know about us.. I was thinking to make it official and see where it takes us" I said holding her tightly.
Luz didn't reply she thought to herself "yea, of course let's make it official" luz said "amazing" I whispered kissing Luz's neck leaving a small little mark on it "just gotta let others know who you belong too"

Later

It was about noon and I know mom and a dad would be wondering where I went by now.. doesn't matter how old I am they still control me..

Luz has fallen asleep on my lap and I sat in silence unsure what to do.

I had to go home
But-
Luz..
I couldn't just leave her
And I don't want to wake her up either..

I came to the conclusion to wake Luz up.

I sighed as I shook Luz to wake her up.

About five minutes or so of violent shaking she woke up "h-huh?"

"Hey Luz I gotta go I'm gonna be in trouble if I stay any longer than I already Have" I mumbled feeling sorry "oh.. okay then I'll see you tomorrow" luz got off me allowing me to stand up.

"See you soon hun" I leaned in kissing her forehead and left the room and library rushing home so I won't get in trouble.
